Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. After so many positive reviews about the food though, I was really expecting something so different than what I got. Tonight was my dinner night so I picked up food for my husband, my daughter and myself. I ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki hibachi fried rice. What I got was big chunks of cabbage, some big pieces of a carrot some plain rice that was not fried with the veggies and then a cut of beef that resembled Steak-uums and dark chicken meat with very runny YumYum sauce. I tried to eat it, but I just couldn’t. If you are a fan of Benihana, Osaka, or Kobe Japanese Steakhouse (like I am) this ain’t that! This isn’t even the carryout hibachi in the hood. Again, the staff was super nice and for that I am thankful. But these reviews hyping this food up completely lost me, because what have y’all been eating for this to be so good to y’all? This is definitely not what I was expecting after all these reviews.

Hibachi Express is a great alternative for fast food. So far, we’ve tried the chicken and beef, chicken and shrimp, chicken and salmon, chicken egg rolls, dumplings, and Thai tea. The chicken and beef and chicken and shrimp are our favorites! The restaurant is clean, and the service is quick. You may eat in or grab your food to go. They have 2 kiosks to customize your meal, place your order, and pay. You start earning rewards points with your first order. Check them out if you are nearby! Our only downside so far is the tight parking area.

This is my go-to spot for quick and fresh Hibachi! The food is always delicious and yummy no matter the time of day that I come! I can order through the app or order in person or via their kiosk near the front door! I recommend signing up for their loyalty points to earn rewards and the point system is not high so you can earn cents off your next purchase just after one purchase! This is a family friendly franchise location and it’s a husband and wife team! They are very friendly and their line cooks are very friendly and eager to please! Whenever I dine in the lady owner always comes out to do table touches and offers a cup for water if she she’s that you don’t have anything to drink! If you want consistently fresh and yummy hibachi then I would highly recommend this place and I would give it 10 stars if that were an option!
