This is my favorite place in Morehead. I come here maybe once or twice a week for dinner. I’ve eaten at many Hibachi restaurants and this one is by far the best. Doesn’t compare to the expensive ones that taste like crap!! I wish there was a closer location to my home town!

Appetizers can be hit or miss. For instance, I once got a batch of edamame with several in it that were freezer burnt, and the rangoons are a tad on the sweet side for my taste, but that is me looking for something to criticize. Other than that one experience, which they graciously accepted feedback on and which hasn’t been an issue since,it’s always a good experience.

My wife and I have been here many times and we love it! The food is always delicious and the staff is always very friendly. I would recommend this place for dine in and takeout. Their drive thru makes it very easy for takeout. Also the service is always quick when we go here as well!

Fantastic flavors and experience. Do not miss this hideaway hit connected to a Valero gas station. Expertly done sushi rolls, flavor-packed hibachi dishes and the best gyoza dumplings around. If you like Japanese or east-Asian foods you owe it to yourself to seek this place out. Not a lot of time? They even have online ordering and a pick-up window. Seriously, I loved this place.

Just to start the review, staff is incredibly kind. It was my first time ordering from Hibachi Express, and I ended up ordering close to a $100 order for 2 people. Despite having started, when they noticed I was distressed at the order’s cost they allowed me to re-place the order. The cashier reassured me it was fine, and that the portions are large. And I can say they are for sure large. Certainly worth the cost. Highly recommended.
