Hibachi Boy is a great in between traditional hibachi sit down and fast food hibachi. The food is great. Specifically the hibachi and sushi are both solid choices. The crab Rangoon is some of the best I’ve tried in the area. For me the biggest downside is the hours of operation. The restaurant is not open on Sundays and they close at 8pm on weekdays. I would visit more frequently if the hours improved considering most people tend to eat out more on weekends and 1 of those days they are not open. Aside from that, the restaurant is a solid choice for great food that is considerably quicker than a traditional sit down.

They had THE BEST Crab Rangoon! And I loved their teriyaki chicken.
I saw today that they are permanently closed! And I am hoping that that just means they will open a location elsewhere! Maybe Wentzville. I’d probably eat there every day if it was that close to me.

The restaurant was beautiful and very peaceful. My daughter and I loved it. They had several items on their menu. The food was really good and the dessert was delish. Staff was very kind and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Called today to place an order with my favorite awesome fresh food family run restuarant only to find out they are permanently closed. I’m sooo terribly sad!!! We had an awesome time at this little restaurant the other day. We were driving by looking for a new place to eat, read other reviews and decided to give it a shot. It was very clean. The food tasted great and they were incredibly friendly. The cashier was so kind to our son and so thoughtful. We will definitely be back to try some sushi.

First time visiting, decided to try the appetizer platter which was nice, and the Hibachi Boy Entree (beef) with steamed rice. I never want to consider buying that entree again. It tasted like it was cooked and only afterward was dowsed in soy sauce. I tried my SO’s chicken Yakisoba and it had a very similar taste to my entree as well as the chicken not tasting like chicken due to the overwhelming soy sauce. Nice setting, nice staff. My wife goes here frequently. Yesterday I went with her. I had to study the menu, as I did not have any idea on what they had to offer. All I knew was they had sushi, and my wife loves it. They counter employee was friendly and nice. We ordered the appetizer platter to share. I ordered the teriyaki salmon bowl with steamed white rice, and my wife got the jade dragon sushi. Once you order you get your own beverage, but they deliver the food to your table, which is nice. They brought out the appetizer first and the presentation was spot on. All of the items tasted great. They brought out my bowl and it did not look like the picture. On the menu, it is a whole piece of salmon, but I got chunks. Not a big deal and it all tasted great. Next time I will have a little spice to it to give it a kick. My wife sushi showed up and it was impressive on the plating. I do not like sushi, but I my eyeballs wanted to take a stab and try it. Very impressive artwork, BRAVO! We will be back. Be sure to check out my pictures.

I recently dined at Hibachi Boy restaurant and ordered their Hibachi Boy Combo Platter. The platter included 3 rolls, edamame, miso soup, and potstickers for appetizers. The sushi was good and the potstickers were great. However, I was a bit disappointed with the miso soup as it was only lukewarm. I would have preferred it to be hotter. The service was average; the staff wasn’t particularly approachable but not rude either. I did like the fact that the food delivery from the kitchen to our table was fast.

Tried ordering online but door dash thinks there Saturday hours don’t start until 4 so tried calling 9 times but keep getting busy signal. Okay. Its Saturday so they’re busy and can’t answer. Message says theyre open and have been since noon. I already know they close 3 to 4 daily. So I drive over there, go in and their response is we’re out of food until 4. What? So you’re not helping people in store with food and you’re not making any food for people or online orders but there are at least 4 or 5 employees in there and none of them could answer phone to let people know this if they call ahead. Just wasted 30 mins of my time driving there and back and have to get new orders from the other people waiting for food from here for a different restaurant. Ridiculous
