It’s not a contradiction; it’s just a matter of the facts. I’ve always been clear about how I was treated in my posts. While there wasn’t any foul language, being rude is still a tone of voice. You didn’t curse me out, but you made me feel very uncomfortable with how you wanted to handle the situation. You mentioned reviewing the phone call, but did you address how you made me feel like we had to bring in the food? And once I arrived, you all started speaking in your native tongue, and I didn’t understand what was going on? It’s not just what you say, but how you say it!
My second visit, as of January 5th.
I wanted to give this place another shot, and we decided to eat inside. I have to say, the food was delicious! What was really cool was the robot that served us—it definitely made up for the takeout order disaster! But I’ll leave my previous review so ppl can see what you wrote Thanks!
The food was decent, but the customer service was terrible. The woman on the phone was particularly rude when we raised a concern about the food. We ordered a dish with pink sliced meat, but my mother, who is elderly, didn’t notice it until she woke up. We called the restaurant, but they didn’t believe us. The woman asked why we hadn’t notified them earlier in a rude manner. I explained that my mother was sleeping and they didn’t notice the meat until she woke up. They insisted on us bringing the dish back so they could inspect it, as if we were lying. When I returned it, they were inspecting it like a mad scientist. They eventually replaced the dish, but the entire experience was awkward and frustrating. I’ll be going to the other Asian restaurant in Arnold’s Park for now.
One thing I wish would have been better is that the fried rice could’ve had more carrots, peas, and onions in the mix and if the chicken was a little less crispy, I’d have no complaints. The General TSO sauce could have also been a little spicier but great flavor overall. Other than that, I’d say we enjoyed ourselves.
Speaking of being served, they have robots that will deliver the food to you. The food came out hot was cooked fresh and had a great taste. They do take out and there were many people who came in to pick up their takeout orders while we were there.
We enjoyed our time and we all agreed that the food tasted great. I’m sure we will be returning sometime in the future!
I was immediately surprised by the robot food servers!
The food itself was all fresh and hot. My house fried rice seemed a little under seasoned for my liking but nothing a little dash of salt and pepper couldn’t fix
