If you want some fast/hibachi come here! Who cares about the area ,or if people hanging around outside. Get your food and leave! I’m from Jersey the best food come from not the best area’s. I enjoyed my crab wonton’s;steak& chicken hibachi .They definitely cooking with flavor unlike some places.

I have eaten at Hibachi 88 on Poole Road off and on for several years. Today’s meal was not good. The veggie rolls are very different, tasteless. The wrappers were so breaded that it consumed the few finely chopped veggies it was stuffed with. The Habachi Shrimp meal now has the smallest shrimp I have ever seen in their meals. There were much fewer vegetables, 2 small pieces of carrot, 2 small pieces of broccoli which were too crunchy, along with a few pieces of onions. There was way too much rice for the amount of shrimp and veggies, making the meal appear larger than it is. I will no longer eat at this Hibachi 88 because the quality of the food has declined. I do look forward to trying the other Habachi 88’s in the Raleigh area and hopefully my food experience will be much better.

Food was disgusting! Gives Habachi a very bad name! Miso soup tastes like dishwasher water, spring rolls tough, see pic. Our mouths was going numb for some reason! Thankfully we was up from the hospital! Don’t go! Don’t go!

This is the second time I ordered here and it was by mistake. The first time food look old, feel old taste old and very oily and this time the same thing. I usually order from another place with the same name and unfortunately uber eats automatically selected this place.

First time eating here. I have always wanted to try Hibachi 88 . Lived here for decades and never tried it until now. I’ve found my new place for fast Hibachi. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Big portions for the money. I would definitely recommend this place. I had the Chicken Hibachi with 2 Spring Rolls. My husband had Honey Sesame Chicken and absolutely loved it. Pic is of my Hibachi Chicki with white sauce (that’s amazing too) on top .

Hands down some of the best hibachi I’ve had from around town. Flavorful, cooked well, and you can tell they care about what they serve. Would recommend. Will be going back.

I will say that I can be a bit of a Hibachi snob, as it’s one of my favorite foods, so I was a bit hesitant about eating hibachi that isn’t cooked directly in front of me.
This is the first time that I’ve ordered take-out for hibachi buuuuuut it was excellent!! I ordered the Shrimp and Steak and it was delicious!
The pre-packaged yum-yum and ginger sauces (they standardly provide 2 yy and 1 ginger) were also unexpectedly amazing and they complimented the meal perfectly. The portions were also generous, as they completely covered my to go box.
I will DEFINITELY be revisiting this hidden gem the next time I had to Raleigh! I’ve found a new favorite!
