What a hidden gem. My husband and I and our friends alway like to pick a new place to have lunch/supper when we get together. We have driven past this diner many times not given more than a glance. How wrong we were to not stop in. Our server was very friendly and polite. We started with 1 of the soups of the day which was cream of cauliflower (homemade) hit and delicious.
Our food choices came out extremely fast and hot. Generous portions also.
The restaurant a fifties diner. Well decorated and very clean.
We will definitely come again and tell our friend.
Note: there are set daytime hours. The diner are breakfast/lunch diner.
Thank you for taking care of your customers.

Stopped into this diner for a catch-up and had a great experience. Staff were patient and lovely while we waited for the rest of our group (and a baby), keeping our coffees full. Ordering was easy, the food came out quickly, was tasty and well priced. Relaxed vibe with plenty of parking — we’ll definitely be back!

his place is amazing. From the moment you walk in there is an old-school diner vibe with the decor, the buzzy of happy people talking and eating. From the moment we sat down the service was excellent. We had a lovely breakfast where I had the special and my wife with the eggs benedict. Everything was tasty and my goodness the coffee! I am a 2 sweetner 2 cream kind of guy but I tasted it first but the coffee was very smooth.

Amazing atmosphere and quality service. My perogies were a little too hard, but everything else was fantastic. The waitress was friendly and timely. Our table was clean and orderly. The bathrooms were clean and not smelly. One of the locks on the door in the women’s bathroom wasn’t working properly, but I was still able to lock it. There was a baby change table in the accessible stall as well. Plenty of space in the dining area and it certainly felt like being in an old diner. After eating they allowed us to order something more to go which was awesome. I would recommend coming with family for a good time!

The food was fantastic. The broasted chicken is to die for. We both got the four piece meal and we were not able to eat even half of the meal, and we are big eaters. This is outstanding value on top of the fantastic food.
The staff was courteous and attentive. I would go back there in a heartbeat and I think that place is easily going to be added to my list of regular stops whenever I’m in Windsor.
Ask for the decor. I like it. I also like Americana and diners are a very Americana 1950s vibe. It’s cool.

We unexpectedly ran into this restaurant on the way home, and saw the signs. They’re proud of their broasted chicken and grumpy burger, so we decided to try those two. It was a busy lunch scene, and the servers struggled to serve the floor, but once we ordered, we didn’t wait too long for the food to arrive.
The grumpy burger came with a beef patty and a slice of ham. The burger was alright, though I welcomed the generous stack of onion slices. I found the burger reminding me of In-N-Out burger, which is sadly missing in my part of the world. The onion rings were solid and perfectly breaded.
I found the broasted chicken to be perfectly seasoned, reminiscent of KFC seasoning, with Church Chicken consistency. Suffice to say, I devoured my chicken with gusto, glad to know that there is a solid option for when I am craving for broasted chicken in the future. Will definitely visit again with my family.
The restaurant sits on a lot with a motel, so parking can be a pain, especially during busy times.

Food was good , only thing we didn’t like was the ham was like lunch meat. And we saw the waitress putting bacon on a plate with her bare hands(could see kitchen from where we sat) Very unhealthy especially after serving food trays and not washing her hands. Kind of gross.

The Hi-Ho is a very quaint, 50s themed diner. The atmosphere is very friendly and the servers are great. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the food usually comes out pretty quickly. The food itself is great too, I would suggest the french toast for breakfast! It gets pretty crowded on Sunday mornings especially around 11am, so make sure to get there early!
