Excellent potstickers and really good (although different) friend rice. Everything else is meh. And everything is wet. Why is everything wet? Keep changing mind when you order. Pretty much everything you order is full of liquid.

They have my favorite fried rice in the area. I haven’t had anything that I didn’t like yet. The waitress there is very nice and is on top of everything.

Sure the inside of the restaurant is odd…you can tell it used to be a seafood restaurant before becoming hi ho, but with good food and amazing service, why does that matter?

Pretty cool restaurant on the inside. Kind of looks like a pirate ship for some reason. I ordered their pot stickers for an appetizer, and they were incredible. Ive never had pot stickers like that! They were shaped like biscuits and tasted great. I also ordered THE hi-ho chop suey not really knowing what chop-suey was and it had a lot of good textures, but the sauce was just so bland! Like I’m sure if you like chop-suey it’s good here, but I just don’t think I like chop-suey.

We generally have a couple of other go-to Chinese places that are a bit closer to our home, but we often go to this side of town and we felt like a sit down meal so we decided to try out their new location. We were there around 4:30pm on a Friday and it was not busy at all. We ordered the Hunan Beef and Szechuan Triple Delight, and we both got Wonton soup (and drinks of course) our total was about $25. Our food had similar but slightly different sauces and was good. We had not had either of these dishes before so I can’t really compare them to anyone else’s. The food was good, service acceptable, and atmosphere wasn’t bad but definitely still shows that the awful crab place was there before. I wouldn’t replace either of my top two Chinese restaurants with this one, but I would probably stop by again.

No atmosphere but the soup was really hot and delicious. The serving sizes are large. We ordered the honey chicken special and shrimp egg foo young. They substituted veggie fried rice for the white for $2. The hot tea was free.

Crab ragoon is great, so is Sweet and sour chicken. But I’m so disappointed I drove home.. 15 minutes and my sesame chicken was leaking through the paper bag, and it had the texture of sweet and sour chicken with sauce on it. So soggy pepper steak also was like nothing I ever had at a restaurant. Not in a good way
