My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. Sat down at table and waited 20 min. Blonde lady was busy carrying stuff in back door and ignoring us. Very rude. Finally got drinks and waited again while she was carrying stuff in again. Another 15 min passed. Finally we left. Very unacceptable. Hopefully owner realizes how many customers he is losing. Won’t be back and won’t recommend.

Great small town country bar. Hadn’t been here since I was a kid so stopped by for lunch to check it out. Had a whole hog sandwich for a special and wow thats o e of the best I have had. Only 1 person working during the day so a little longer wait for food but wow it was worth it. There is smoking in there.

My work crew went in to eat 5 times and the lunch services was awful. The bar manager will yell what is not available to order from behind the bar. The 5th time she was using the F word with us and the phone rang and she was so sweet to whoever was on the phone, I asked is that family and she said we are all family here, which I took as since are not from Poe we were not welcomed.

Very cool small town bar. Stopped in to check it out because I heard they have gizzards. Unfortunately, they were out but offered chicken hearts as a substitute. Although, I like chicken hearts I doubted I could eat a basket of them and passed. Instead, I had chicken wings, fries, onion petals, broccoli and bacon cheese bites, and breaded mushrooms. It was some of the best bar food I’ve had in a long time. I also enjoyed some cold Miller Lites to wash it all down. Nothing fancy about the atmosphere, but I think that’s one of the things that makes the place. Service was outstanding! I didn’t catch the lady’s name but she was hustling and taking care of everyone. I’m certain this isn’t the last time I’ll be there. Check it out! UPDATE: I made a return trip to try the gizzards. They’re a no for me. I prefer mine crisp with a crunch or snap when I bite into them. These were more like they were pre-cooked to tenderize them and then battered and deep fried. They’re like they have at 9 Mile Restaurant, which obviously I didn’t like either.

We stopped in for lunch. We ordered a drink. The server was busy taking inventory and doing other things. We had to ask if we could order lunch. We were looking at the menu online. This seemed to upset the server. She said I have menus. I ordered but my friend needed a minute. This seemed to upset the server. We felt unwelcome. We felt like we were keeping her from something. The food came out fast and it was good.

Hi ho again was awesome.. we had our racing party there and it was my and my wife’s first time there.. food was excellent!! Drinks kept on coming!! Karoake guy was super cool!! All around awesome place and a plus is you can smoke inside. Definitely going to be back when we’re in that neck of the woods!!
