First time trying Hi Ho #5 BBQ and it didn’t disappoint. The meat was tender, smoky, and full of flavor, and the portions that you get on your bun was generous for the price. The crinkled fries were delicious and served Hot! The service was friendly and quick. The place has that country down home feel, nothing fancy, just good food done right. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re craving some really good bbq sandwiches . The dining area was spotless and very clean, you didn’t have to wipe the tables yourself or ask them to clean them. On a side note they do offer other foods amongst other side items, we’ve only tried the bbq sandwiches and grilled cheese sandwiches. The grilled cheese was simple but done right. The bread was crispy and butter toasted with plenty of melty cheese. We’ll definitely be returning back to this place. If you’re in the area go stop by for a bite to eat and check them out, you’ll find their food delicious.

I came here for something to munch on and used to eat here frequently, and had fond memories of their delicious BBQ and friendly and efficient service. It’s been roughly 8 years since I’ve eaten here and I decided to come back since I was in the area. The service was far from friendly. I called to place my order since the drive through was extremely slow and while asking for recommendations, I was snapped at. Then, after I said I was finished placing my order, I was hung up on. Thankfully I was in the parking lot and walked right in to ask what was said at the end of the call since it was mumbled, and I waited around for at least 10 minutes just to be “greeted” by the same woman from the window. Yet again, she was NOT very friendly and came across as rude in my opinion and very short. To top of the service I received, my keto cups were very dry and I’m certain the beef I got was pork and the pork I ordered was chicken. The nacho cheese tasted bad as well. The only positive things about my experience were the fries (I ordered a large and received a small….) and the strawberry cream soda. I will not be wasting my money OR time to be returning to this location. I am severely disappointed.

Pitiful! I love hi-ho, eat it very often but this one isn’t great. My sandwiches are always empty on top of the extremely long wait for no apparent reason. Hammond and Pontchatoula are way better. Livingston would be my last choice. Disappointing because I live closest to it.

My family loves Hi Ho here in Livingston. Excellent customer service and the food is great. I’ve also come to enjoy the breakfast they have. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. And they have activity nights, where you can pay a small fee and paint items that you take home after the event. I haven’t been able to attend one yet, but I think that is super awesome that they have something like that to take part in.

We’re from Oregon, and this is the best barbecue we’ve tasted. Beef was falling off the bone tender, and both the beef and pork sandwiches were delicious. Service was great, Caleb took excellent care of us, with a smile. The place was meticulously clean inside and out. I loved the wood inside and out, which made me feel right st home
The only complaint I have is the sign was hard hard to see. It would be nice to have one on the street saying ‘Stop here for good bbq !’

Food is good and the service is good. The biscuit I got was kinda burnt but it was loaded with bacon and the eggs were great. The cheese burger was damn good. Of course the BBQ pork and beef are great. It’s 1 minute from my house which is the best thing of all

This was a faith fellowship gathering. We met in the upstairs room. Apparently, some people had called in sick so the staff was terribly overworked. As a result, some orders were messed up and we had an extra sandwich and some fries. Our waitress did her best and should be commended for her patience and professionalism.
