I’ve never been more impressed with a milkshake in my life. It was so good and it wasn’t too sweet and it paired perfectly with my burger. The burger was absolutely delicious I asked for extra lettuce and tomato, and they added on for free which was great. You can customise or make your own burger at this place as well. The staff were really nice.

HiBoy a staple for a smashed burger made to perfection. Simple ingredients and menu items to choose from! Yummy ice cream and soda options. Clean and well kept. It’s always a treat to stop by and grab a bite to eat they have daily specials as well! Several locations, 24hwy, 40hwy and 291 hwy if you miss one find another! Try the fried pickles and chicken sandwich.

Cherry mash cyclone and pineapple upside down shake both tasted great. Very chill atmosphere. Super friendly staff. And it was at a very fair price point. I would recommend anyone to go there.

An old fashioned family owned burger joint serving the residents of Independence since the late 1950’s. The fast service is almost as impressive as their longevity and food is also really tasty. The princess and I both had the single 1/4 pound hi-boy burger and split an order of french fries. The food was served hot , fresh and really fast. Plenty of off street parking. Order at the counter , no drive through and no delivery. Take it with you or eat in your car as I didn’t see any tables. A few hours later we came back for a twist cone. The Princess loves a nice chocolate and vanilla twist cone and they have them here!

Went to the drive-in on Blueridge! Blvd. Staff is ready to take my order as soon as I walked in. Accurate and efficient as well as friendly. HiBoy burger is great and the Onion rings are the best! Mushrooms with ranch is one to try…. Check it out!

We don’t eat anything but ice cream here, because when we visit Independence, we eat at Mugs Up. The service has always been great at Hi Boy, and last time we were there, the employee overfilled my hot fudge sundae. I asked him to clean up the outside of the cup, but the manager told him to just make another one, which I appreciated.
