I’m beyond frustrated with the way my food was handled today at HFC Pizza. What I found in my sub is absolutely unacceptable. There were small shards of foil stuck inside the bread, clearly from when the sandwich was cut in half after being wrapped in foil. This is basic food handling 101 — you never cut food through foil. Doing so contaminates the food with metal fragments, and anyone with common sense in a kitchen should know better.
It’s infuriating that this even happened. The sandwich was wrapped in wax paper, then foil, then another layer of paper, and only after that did someone decide to slice it in half — literally cutting the metal into the bread. All they had to do was cut it first, then wrap it. That’s it. Instead, I ended up with foil pieces inside my meal, which is not just lazy — it’s unsafe.
To make matters worse, I had to order a sub in the first place because they didn’t even have any pizza by the slice ready at lunchtime. For a pizza place, that’s just ridiculous.
This kind of careless preparation and lack of attention to basic food safety is unacceptable. If a restaurant can’t handle something as simple as wrapping and cutting a sandwich correctly, how can anyone trust what’s going on in the kitchen?

The food here is AMAZING!!! The service Awais and Zaheer gave us was phenomenal. We actually went to another restaurant but did not like the treatment. We left and looked for a different place. We were greeted and treated very well from the moment we opened the door. The food is really good!! I recommend the Grilled Chicken Platter. The portion was more than enough and the pricing of everything was fair.

HFC Pizza & Wings is our go-to stop whenever we’re traveling from I-81 to I-83. The food always hits the spot—tasty, satisfying, and very reasonably priced. The staff is consistently kind and accommodating, which makes the stop even better. Wow, what a spot! The variety of halal options on the menu is refreshing compared to other spots. The staff are quite friendly and are receptive to special requests. Their halal pizza options are always a fan favorite as well as the cheesesteak.
