Last time I was here weekday evening time when it wasn’t busy. Today (Saturday) it was a madhouse around 1pm. Wait time was 40 minutes. No bobas were available to order. Cashier was struggling to give out changes to customer, holding the line back for 5 minutes.
Luckily the app was available to track the order. When I went to pickup the order, saw just pure chaos. Four people behind the counter running around mad confused. After waiting several minutes I had to get someone’s attention to hand me my drinks. Fortunately my mango cloud came out fine. But the other drink had issues. Just seemed the employees were clueless how to handle peak hours.

Went to Hey Tea on a weekday evening to get couple of drinks. It is located near H Mart in Section A of AD. The store is take out only, just a small bench in front of the store to sit. The menu has all the popular drinks matcha, boba, seasonal and fruit teas. Some of the extras include boba, jelly, cheese cloud and matcha cloud.
We ordered the cloud mango and cloud matcha latte. The price was similar to other boba stores for large drinks with toppings. Took them about 5 minutes to have the order ready. Was a quick service. I loved the cloud mango. It had so much mango flavor. And the foamy cloud cheese was so delicious. I finished the whole drink in less than 15 minutes. Loved the first experience of HT and I’ll be getting more drinks from them for sure now.

I don’t how they passed the health inspection. Very dirty everywhere, I never saw them wash their hands or anything. The two employees in the front obviously HATES their job. They looked angry while making the drinks and kept making mistakes. Seemed understaffed but even so, that is not an exuse to how dirty that place was and how they treated the customers. We ordered the new Mochi Longjing Latte but they deliberately did not put the Mochi. Plus the very obvious fingerprints from the workers on the cups. Us and other guests had to let them know to remake the drinks.Very Unprofessional and not hygenic. I’ve been to other branches in New York, it was never like this. I hope they can change the management and make changes to be better as it has so much potential.

I love HEYTEA, their drinks are always good. Perfect amount of sweetness and flavor. I tried the kale boost tea today and it’s really good.
The only complaint I have is the wait time. I know HEYTEA is really popular and this mall is SUPER crowded but I wished there was a better system for the workers and customer. On the app it said 30min so that’s why I ordered ahead but in the end I waited an hr for my drink. I wished they either capped the mobile orders or did something to help the wait time because there were other annoyed customers that were complaining and the workers seemed really stressed too. As I waited I kept seeing more orders come in
As a precaution order at least an hr ahead before you have to go! I wanted to get tea before I had to leave but I didn’t know it would take an extra 30min

Seriously Why do people go here for bubble tea? Please tell me WHY. Not special. Not tasty. I waited an hour to get my drink because tea was not prepared. There were 30 people waiting for bubble tea for an hour because the tea was not prepared. Don’t go here go to Gongcha or Kungfu Tea instead.

I stopped by a new boba spot that just opened and was really impressed! The drinks were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, which I loved. The boba itself was soft and chewy, clearly made with care. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the shop had a clean, modern vibe that made it a great place to hang out.

Great drinks, but poor service. One of my drinks was missing when my number was called. It took them 10 min to realize that the drink was never made, and instead of trying to fulfill the order asap, they just put my order to the end of the line and had me wait for another 20 mins without any acknowledgment.

Avoid this place and goto the ones in the city or flushing. It’s run by a bunch of clueless kids who have no idea how to run the operation. 1) It has maybe 1/10 of the volume of the heytea in the city yet takes 20-30 min wait, only 1 person is making the tea and has no idea what he is doing I watched him stumbling around for half hour making like 10 cups total 2) No online order or machine order you have to talk to a guy to order, dont even bother give any options like less ice none will be recorded 3) by 2-3pm they ran out of coconut and matcha which means more than half the drinks on the menu can’t be ordered. 4) final insult after waiting 30 mins for my simple grape drink is it was only half a cup….
