After having a root canal, I was interested in soup for lunch and Google directed me to this gem in East DePere. Overestimating the recovery of feeling in my lips and tongue, I ordered, I believe, potato dill soup with kielbasa and mushrooms which would require more chewing than I was able to endure. I asked for a carton to take it with me and was pleased by the concern displayed by the two women behind the counter. I assured them that the soup was, in fact, delicious and the only reason I want finishing it in house was that I wanted to eat the soup and not my cheeks or tongue. Reheated a couple hours later, I found that it was still quite enjoyable. The Brazilian bread was also an unexpected, if unsubstantial treat.
We will definitely return and enjoy the soup fresh.
My wife got chicken soup (sitting to her soul and restorative to her being) with rice. It was also delicious but lacking in the drama that my order provided.
Atmospherically speaking: it’s in a store front with a retail vibe. Not romantic first date stuff, but married over 50 years, we’re past that, at least on a Tuesday afternoon in winter.

Elegant, warm little (five two tops, one four top) shop in east DePere just across parking lot from Serogy’s Chocolates. It is owned and operating by a mother and her daughter. It is strictly soup, one of three basic soups that almost always are vegetarian or even vegan. The soup choice change daily.
Once you order soup (12 ounce cup, 16 ounce bowl, or flight of three 6 ounces each), you then get to “build your bowl” all at no cost. Add-ins include kielbasa, chicken, mushrooms, rice mix, black beans. Cheeses or include cheddar, Parmesan, Gouda, and queso fresco. Fresh tomato, cilantro and green onion were available on 9/17/25. Drizzles are sour cream, Sriracha sour cream, garlic pepper (dairy free), and cashew cream (dairy free). Finallly…. Crispies: chickpeas, pepitas, tortilla strips and bacon!
So, almost endless “personalization” of your soup(s).
How is it:
Great, warm, friendly service. Order at the counter.
Soup is made fresh daily and is delicious.
Most highly recommend.

Adorable Soup Shop ran by the nicest mother and daughter. Three Homemade Soups made daily to choose from or you can get a soup flight. Very unique place- you get to choose a soup and then add on proteins, sauces, and toppings to customize it. Served with a delicious Brazilian Bread. If you like soup or healthy options you must try this place.

A Celiac’s haven! I haven’t had better gluten free bread rolls in my entire life. The ladies serving were so kind and hospitable, and the soup was completely wonderful – everything within was gluten free. My wife found this little gem and drove with me from southern WI for my birthday, and this meal did not disappoint. We will be back!

I’d like to start by saying that the bread was absolutely wonderful. The chicken Ramen however, was the worst soup/Ramen I’ve ever had. For $10 a bowl I expected at least decent soup, but this was nearly inedible. The chicken cubes were so dry and crumbly, the noodles were so low quality I couldn’t believe they hadn’t been floating there for a month – I would have had something twice as good if I’d poured a 99 cent canned chicken noodle into a bowl. It tasted as if it was dollar store Ramen with old recycled chicken cubes from canned soup. Worth going if you have direct knowledge on what soups are good, or just for the bread.

Very cute place! I love that the soups switch up often because it’s fun to try new flavors! They have mix ins so you can customize your soup however you would like! They also let you sample before choosing which soup you want which is super helpful especially if you are debating between two flavors. I love this place because everyone can get what they want and I’ve always liked everything I’ve gotten here! The workers are always very sweet and helpful! They have a small seating area if you want to eat in but they have great containers to take the soup with you if you need to stop quick for a lunch pick up! Definitely recommend

Travelling for work and decided to stop here for lunch. This place was nothing short of delightful. Customizable soups, the freshest salad with homemade dressings, and the bread rolls that were so good, I’ll be dreaming about them for years to come. It was perfect.

One of the best spots in De Pere. Their ingredients are always fresh and if you were to ever go and eat there and not enjoy it, I would like to have a honest conversation with your taste buds and ask them what’s going on.
