Went on 8-22-25, and used dining dollars to purchase the meal. Did the build your own burger, but got nothing close to what I wanted. Originally ordered it with bacon, lettuce, onion, BBQ sauce, and pepper jack cheese and instead got American cheese, no bacon, very little sauce, and tomato added. Wouldn’t be too salty if it weren’t also for the staff seemingly not caring. One appeared to drop a bowl in the back but was never seen putting it in the sink. Fries were good at least, but better can be done than this.

Fries are good, burgers aren’t. Overpriced for what you get. Items ring up for more than the menu says and the staff says they can’t fix it because it’s all run through the computer. So keep an eye on your total, you might get scammed.

The service today (9/30/25) was actually really good. They were cooking and pushing out food really quick which is unusual as the normal wait time is usually around 10-15 mins. The burgers are okay except for the bone pieces in almost every burger I’ve gotten here. If you have brittle or sensitive teeth, steer clear of this place.

The food is always consistently old. As a regular customer, since there is no other burgers on campus, I frequent around 3 to 4 times a week per semester. But for every 17 to 18 visits a month, on average, only 1 to 2 visits have fresh food. The fries are always old and/or undercooked. They will either be incredibly tough, extremely soft, or dark brown and extremely chewy. The workers just do not seem to care. But sometimes, the food is decent, and when it is, I enjoy the fry seasoning. But the burger is always dry, unseasoned, and cold. I hope leadership sees this and makes adjustments to how food is rotated out because the quality is just unacceptable, I wish I could claim to like this place since I frequent it so often, but it always disappoints and rarely earns praise.

I enjoyed the fast food restaurant. The hard workers may forget sometimes from specific details that you may have ordered from time to time. And some specific scause that you didn’t want on your burger. I still go there to waste my money on good burgers and well done fries. I prefer in the future they will serve more menu items. Go Hay Cow!!

Enjoyed the meal. Wish you could get different shake sizes, though.

Update: as of writing this, there’s still no shakes. Liberty refuses to fix the ice cream machines at this location and the local Slim Chickens, and its been over a month. Wish there was more transparency, because this lowers my review. Needless to say, the quality of burgers is impressive given the massive lines of customers they get during peak times, but my criticism still stands.

The food is fine, a bit sloppily put together. I wish I could request to take ingredients off my burger. Also, What the Heck. Where are the milkshakes? So the machine was broken and instead of fixing it, they just don’t sell milkshakes anymore. I’m going to sue for false advertising!!

hit this place during CFAW but on a saturday afternoon around 1.30. there wasn’t a huge line, and it still took like 25 min for us to get our food. the milkshake machine was broken but ZERO customer service – NO ONE told us it was broken. you would think common sense would prevail and you would tell someone there are no shakes – when the ticket comes in for shakes. or how about putting up a sign that says it’s broken. staff just didn’t seem to care and the length of time it took to put food out was unacceptable. i’m being told this is status quo with this place – unacceptable if you’re a student looking for a quick bite between classes…if that’s the case – do not come here

Located in DeMoss Student Center, the location is pretty nice for students since it is close to the entrance, and I also found the place not too bad in service unlike few who have given one star for this place. Maybe because this place use kiosk to order now, so there is minimal interaction with those who prepares the food. One downside using a kiosk is I did not get my 15% flames cash discount. Burger was meh. I would probably not get it again. Onion ring was not the style I like. Too much batter for my taste, but I could see the merit. I did like the milkshake though. Got a classic strawberry milkshake and it tasted good. Overall, the experience was a mediocre one. For convenience, I would like to give another star for atmosphere.

Waited 25 minutes for a simple burger that I couldn’t even get before my next class. Nothing special on it, but because it was “build your own” that somehow justified sending out 25 orders that were placed after me first. If you can’t efficiently do customization, don’t offer it
