Beautiful and quaint cafe with delicious food and drinks. We stopped in here during our Port Aransas trip last May and it didn’t disappoint! We ordered the Pulled Pork Benedict, Biscuits and Gravy, Berry Smoothie, Oat Latte, and Kids Meals and it was all very tasty. The service was wonderful, the employees were friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I love the outside garden area, if we lived closer I would frequent it just for the atmosphere and relaxing setting!

I visited Hester’s Café recently. I tried the latte, which was okay but not amazing, I didn’t like it that much. I also ordered a dish with chicken, eggs, avocado, and fried potatoes (I forgot the exact name). I didn’t really like the dish overall—the only thing I enjoyed were the fried potatoes, which were delicious. I also tried the chocolate cheesecake, and it was really good. Overall, the café feels a bit on the high end in terms of pricing.

Ya know. Nothing just WRONG with it, but terribly disappointing. Theres not a visible breakfast menu when you walk in so I hopped on my phone. Felt like something light, so ordered a cup of oatmeal, a side of bacon, and a cup of coffee. not only does the oatmeal come completely plain unless you specifically request things (this was not offered at ALL when ordering) but the side of bacon was four bucks and came with three pieces. I paid THIRTEEN dollars and change for a small cup of plain oatmeal, a piece of toast, a cup of black coffee, and three pieces of bacon. I shoulda made that at home . Oh, mind you, I got my coffee when I ordered but sat at my table for 25 minutes waiting for the oatmeal. Just a wildly expensive slow experience for a holiday inn breakfast. Very loud worship music playing overhead as well.

The first visit was absolutely amazing—definitely a 10/10 experience. The service was fantastic, and the food came out hot and fresh. I left knowing I had to come back again.
Unfortunately, my second visit was a complete letdown. The service was practically nonexistent, the food took an unreasonably long time to arrive, and to top it off, I found a hair cooked into my waffle (as shown in the last photo).
The inconsistency between visits is disappointing, and I hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve.

Absolutely delightful! After a long night of traveling, we decided to explore Corpus Christi restaurants for our breakfast meal. My husband and I decided on dining at Hester’s Cafe . We were not dsappointed…Very comfortable dining area in a tranquil setting . We chose the Duke Ellington and the Louis Armstrong breakfasts-super delicious!. The service was over-the-top exceptional, and the warm friendliness of the staff was appreciated. Thank you so much for adding a high note to our anniversary celebration and Corpus Christi memories. Highly recommended!

Came in for breakfast around 2pm since I woke up late. Food and dessert was great though I have to say I didn’t enjoy their bitter espresso. El Campo Scramble hit the spot but was missing the jalapeños. The Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake was a great appetizer since it showed up before the main dish. I’m giving only 4 stars due to the coffee and they didn’t have a mug we were looking for. Other than that we’ll definitely come back again thanks Team Hester’s…

It was my first time to visit the place so I ordered their corpusborg. It’s a kind of omelette with melted cheese inside and roasted chicken with a side of potatoes and salsa sauce. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because personally I was not a fan of avocado on eggs, but I do love avocado smoothie! Then I had the banana tart which is good but the crust was a little too hard that time I think. Nonetheless, the atmosphere and service were great and I would love to come back and try other stuff on the menu.
