This place was really good! The waitress was sweet and accommodating and it wasn’t super busy so our food came out pretty quick. I can easily say that was one of the best burgers ive had. It wasn’t overdone with toppings and it was simply a good burger cooked to medium rare like I requested. The restaurant itself is nice and old fashioned with a nice view of the trains passing every so often.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. The food was absolutely delicious, the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived

I have been looking for a friendly, local neighborhood bar to hang out for ages and stumbled upon this gem hidden adjacent to an industrial area, right next to a rail road track. It brings nostalgic memories from my childhood. Laid back, casual and friendly staff makes the place pleasant. Great food, too. Their fried chicken and fries are too good. Wish they had more beers on tap, especially on tap. Brendan, the bar tender, makes great cocktails. Prices are reasonable, and I heard they do great breakfast on weekends too. Eagerly awaiting to be there soon.

Kitchen closed at 9pm but the bartender happily served me sandwiches were readily able to get done. The catfish sandwiches was fantastic. However the roll they give you is not too good. I love their karoake nights. I wouldn’t have ever knew it was any good if I didnt know about their karoake nights.

Wow this place has gone downhill . I hadn’t been there in two years and I remembered it was so much better. It took someone 20 minutes to come to my table. Then it took 45 minutes to get my food and they got orders wrong. IT wasn’t even that good either. It smelled like weed and smoke in the place too. The crowd at the bar was really drunk and loud. I Won’t be going there again for along long time. Not worth the drive from where I live. The waitress was nice but she was all over the place and looked out of it completely out of it. It used to be so much better. The band was just OK. I Wouldn’t see them again though.

I go for the music. Service is slow, kitchen slower, but staff treat you well. Food is average as in catfish & fried chicken to below average as with their soft canned green beans & sweet coleslaw. The music & nearness to home are what attract folks.

I had an appointment to install my car alarm, and had to wait a couple of hours until the installation was done, so I went on a, search for a place to have lunch, and, serendipitiously, stumbled upon Hershey’s. I got there a couple of minutes before they opened, but I was invited to wait in one of their outside tables. It gave me some time to look around the place.
Hershey’s is tucked away in a semi-industrial area of Gaithersburg, right across the railroad tracks. It has a lovely patio outside, which I am sure would be great in the summer months. The establishment is primarily a local watering hole with a well-stocked bar that also serves a limited but substantial menu. The dishes seem to be influenced by Southern cooking. There are multiple tables, which by the time I left were busy with local patrons. Following what is usually my preference, I sat at the bar. I ordered one of their beers on tap, Kona, which was refreshing. I ordered one of their fried chicken platters, the two-piece white, which came with two sides, and mine were fried okra and coleslaw. There is a 25 minute wait whenever you order fried chicken, because it is fried “a la minute” (to order), and that meant receiving a wonderful plate of freshly fried chicken that was shateringly crispy outside and juicy and moist on the inside. The chicken was well seasoned, and so where the crispy fried okra. The servings were generous! I want also mention the wonderful service I got at the bar, where I appreciated the conversation with the bartender. Hershey’s was a little gem that deserves to be visited more than once! I did not want to leave out that they also have live music and dancing on the weekends!

This place is a fixture with a mostly senior local following that attracts folks with music on many Thurs & Sat. Nights. The fried chicken is popular – the chicken fingers are not nearly as good.
