Food poisoning.! Stay away. Decided to take my girlfriend here in congratulations for her military promotion since she loves Mexican food, two hours after our meal this happened. Forgive me for the picture I’m about to post but I’d like for you guys to see the outcome so my review doesn’t seem I’m trying to bring a business down just because I wasn’t happy with the service which it was good but not after having food poisoning. Will not be returning to this establishment again.

Where to start… I’ll start off by saying I sent my son to go get it. He said the man at the register was very friendly. He said the place also look very nice. But two things I have to say about this place. The food. Lol If this is “one of the best” Bloomington/normal has, I feel bad for the people down here. You might as well get chipotle. The second and most important is that they double charged. We got 2 meals. Both costed $8.50 and 2 horchatas.

Not bad food, but I was hoping for authentic Mexican food. Got seated quickly, waited on and served pretty quickly. Like I said it’s not bad food it’s just not authentic Mexican food that doesn’t mean I won’t go back, Plus they have beer specials on Sundays you can’t beat that.

It would be nice to have the option to have beans and rice with all meals, a smaller portion for those that now say beans or rice. The portion sizes are good for the price with minimal left overs for the numbered dishes.

Food is good, not spicy. Not crowded, peaceful to enjoy food with family and friends.I did not find much difference between burrito and enchilada. Maybe lack of knowledge, except size differences but looks similar, taste alike. Can be better food for my taste. Cost wise worth for the money.
