We always order for pickup since the tables are pretty much a part of the gas/convenience station, and we haven’t had the best experiences with the friendliness of the staff. However, the sandwiches they make are phenomenal, and since we usually order ahead and grab our food to go, the other two issues are menial to us. We have never, ever had a bad sandwich from there, and I would rate them far above any other place in the county for sandwiches. That’s why we’ve been going back for 15 years.

Dirty tables, over priced sandwiches, since the buisness has changed ownership it has gone down hill significantly. They no longer offer fries or other fried options. Wilted lettuce and microwaved gyro meat. Will not be eating here again.

Forget Subway, this is home-made goodness! Husband loved Heros when he used to live here so we decided to eat breakfast while on a weekend visit. Wonderful food, quick service, lots of choices. This will be our go to breakfast when we’re in town.

Was very disappointed. Been going to Heros since it was in the Southeast side of the building. Spent $21 including a tip for a sandwich that had barely anything on it. Got a Cheese Steak. Staff was very unfriendly including throwing my sandwich on the counter and walking away. It wasn’t even busy. Similar has happened on other recent visits. Just sad to see the new Heros isn’t anything to tell your friends about.

We decided to stop and try Heros today. Sandwiches were good. Service was TERRIBLE, 3 employees. One was on her phone in the back, one was cooking and one was standing next to cook laughing and joking with him ignoring the counter while we and other customers were standing there waiting to order. We would have stayed to eat our sandwiches but the tables were disgusting. We won’t be back.
