If you have any type of military background or special place in your heart this little bar is the place to have a cold one and some snacks. The entire place is filled with pictures of vets and current service members. Very friendly staff. The food was ok the drinks were good.

I got the smokehouse burger and it was perfect! The tater tots were great ! The service was fast! Everyone inside was super friendly ! We stopped in after a camping trip and it was great! Luckily I got a pic before I ate it all up!

Our family stopped here today 5-23-25 for lunch after picking up antiques from a local resident. We wanted food & she recommended Heroes and told me to get the breakfast burger. I was so glad I did! It was SO GOOD!!! My husband got the pig burger, my daughter got the hot club on a croissant, and my nephew got the chicken BLT wrap. Everyone loved their meal! We loved the atmosphere, the food & there is nothing better than a restaurant that truly supports are troops! The walls are covered with pictures of men/women who have served this country. They even have a table that is Reserved for those fallen soldiers that never made it back home.
If you are like us and like to find new mom/pop restaurants to try, you won’t be disappointed with Heroes! We all agreed, this place has made it to the top of our list of best restaurants in MI!

Hands down the best burgers in Michigan. This is a fun, private owned bar/ restaurant. It has a VFW feel and a heavy military theme. It’s clear they are paying homage to our veterans. So already you know you have a good place. I can’t speak to the whole menu, as I cannot make it past apps and burgers. The burgers are insane. Some places will put a slice of ham, Hereos loads it up. My son got the breakfast burger. The bun is two waffles. It comes with a side of syrup. Your doctor won’t be pleased but your stomach will be happy. Prices are very fair. Service is combo bartender and server, so not super fast. Service was exceptionally friendly, so I didn’t mind waiting. I’ll drive 45 minutes when I’m craving that burger. Worth the drive every time.

Very quiet and clean. Service was not bad. Would have given 5 stars but the portion to price of food was way off. They upcharge $2.50 if you want fries but then don’t give you very much.

The waitress at this place is literally the rudest human I’ve ever encountered. She made it abundantly clear that she did NOT want customers bothering her for ANYTHING (she actually said that). She went out of her way to repeatedly tell us we were not welcome. Sad because the place next door has much better food. We chose Heroes because my dad is a vet and his picture is on the wall. Now, when my family members argue, we joke that the punishment is to have dinner here. No joke.

We had a big group, 19, so it might have caused some delays in service time but our waitress was great, food was great and atmosphere is very respectful. May not be the place for big groups, just individual dining. Overall great experience though. Will go back for sure.

Wow…just wow not only was the food and service above and beyond the atmosphere was on point great little family restaurant and bar the owner and his daughter are awesome and great people to talk to i could just be a little biased because they put our pictures of our dad and brother that passed away that are and for always will be vets on the wall so now we along with others can go and enjoy a meal or a drink with them and so many others

In the hundreds and hundreds of places I’ve eaten across 29 states so far, this is probably my favorite theme of all… honoring those that serve. I’ve never seen any place like it, but I wish were common to see places that celebrate those that serve as well as this place does.
Good food and friendly staff as well. Wish I could have taken a little more time to check out more of the pictures on the walls.
