Great vibe, friendly faces, and top-notch service!
Hero’s Den has an awesome atmosphere — laid-back but lively, the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome. The owner is often on-site serving drinks, which really adds a personal touch. The service is attentive, the drinks are great, and the prices are very reasonable. You can tell they care about creating a fun local hangout. Definitely one of Murfreesboro’s hidden gems!

Talked with Ian tonight, great conversation…. Haven’t been here much but last time I was here was the Marine Ball, absolutely fantastic time. If you’re s veteran around the Murfreesboro area, and want a chiller quieter, nicer bar… There’s no doubt this is the spot. My only hope is they slightly pick up some but the more secluded feel isn’t terrible.

We rented the space at Heros Den for our son’s 30th birthday party and the venue was absolutely amazing. Cynthia was amazing to work with and made everything very easy to book. I would highly recommend this venue for any type of party!

The soft-opening menu was a sampling of brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and jalapeño cheddar sausage. The bar was also serving up some great local beers from Cedar Creek Brews and Panther Creek! The food prepared by Single Tree was exceptional. The brisket was tender with a nice bark, the ribs were fall off the bone, the pulled pork was firm and moist with great flavor. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was so darn good, some of the best I’ve enjoyed in Tennessee. I learned this sausage is from TN Meat Co. Both the mild and hot BBQ sauces Charlie put together are a great compliment for the meats. You know this will be a win/win when the sides are exceptional and really are a complement to the meal. The Beans, Mac & Cheese, and Coleslaw are homemade and all had great flavors and would be a meal by themselves.
The staff at Heroes Den did a great job making sure everyone was well taken care of and the atmosphere here is very inviting and I loved the decor. Congratulations Single Tree BBQ and Heroes Den on their new partnership and impressive soft-opening.
On opening night I went with the chicken sandwich he described to me previously. While Single Tree may be extremely well known for their BBQ, this chicken sandwich I tried is incredible!!!

We went with the cadet burger and fries (great seasoning and portions) and the pork chops. All the food was great and the service was good. Very friendly people. Hats off to the chef! Definitely stop by and give it a visit. Love the mission of the owners as well

Heroes Den is such a great find! If you’re looking for a relaxed, low-key bar in Murfreesboro, this is it. The vibe is perfect for having a few drinks with friends, and the place has an awesome bourbon selection. Plus, the drinks are super reasonably priced, which is a huge bonus.
The live music here is great too – it really adds to the atmosphere without being too loud or overwhelming. And the fact that there’s a taco truck parked right out front is just icing on the cake. You can grab some tacos and bring them back into the bar while you enjoy your drink.
Overall, Heroes Den has everything you’d want from a local bar: great drinks, a chill environment, live music, and good food right outside. Definitely planning to come here regularly!

We had been to this place when it was Big Bobby’s BBQ and were not impressed.
However, I had seen multiple good reviews on a Facebook review group, so I figured we would give them another chance. I know they have recently partnered with the Single Tree BBQ truck for the cooking.
It made a difference!
This experience was 180* different than the original experience. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food wait time was normal. But the food… was very good!!
We started with the Bologna burnt ends, because we like to try a sampler whenever we try a new place. The burnt ends were good, but we wished they had a been a little more caramelized.
Then we split a small sampler platter, subbing in mac & cheese for the slaw.
Everything was good! We definitely look forward to coming back and trying more things from the menu!
One thing to note: they have live music Tuesdays, Friday nights, and Saturdays. So, if you like live music, then go at those times. If you don’t, try to avoid those times.
