Stopped in for a burger and a beer. Almost an overwhelming portion of tots came with the burger. No complaints about the burger. I thought the pricing was pretty reasonable especially given the location.

Friendly and attentive server. Lots of TV with sports on. Large venue that I could see getting pretty loud. They will validate parking.

Excellent service. Everything came out exactly as ordered and was plated beautifully. Delicious. They also let you check out on your own which is huge when you’re trying to get to your event on time at the AAC.

Now I know this place looks like a sports bar, but you HAVE to give it a chance! I’ve been to many brunch spots all over the DFW metroplex and this place has jumped to my top 5 (possibly my number 2!). I can’t say one bad thing about my experience because it was all amazing. We started out with pineapple and grapefruit mimosas and tequila shots, cause why not? We were kind of in a rush so we weren’t able to try any of the appetizers but I will definitely be back to try that Parmesan Kale Dip because the table next to us had it and they said it was delicious. We ordered the Chorizo Gravy Skillet, the Banana – Butter Pecan Waffles, and the Shrimp and Grits. It was all AMAZING! The potatoes in the skillet were perfectly cooked, so not overcooked to be mushy or undercooked and tough, and had such an amazing flavor – the Chorizo gravy really made the dish even better. The waffles have jumped to my absolute favorite at any restaurant – I highly recommend them because they were perfectly crispy and the candied pecans were Their shrimp and grits have also swam into my top 5 because they were packed with flavor and the sauce didn’t drown the grits like other places have done. The shrimp weren’t overcooked and the grits were spicy and even creamy despite the sauce. Our server Tomi was also amazing, she provided such great service and truly made our experience Hero has definitely gained two more regulars, because we will be back!

Hero is the perfect spot for a Sunday football outing! I went with my boyfriend to catch the game, and we had such a great time. The atmosphere was lively, with lots of energy from the crowd, but it was still easy to have a conversation.

We shared the steak nachos, and they were incredible, with crispy chips, tender steak, and plenty of toppings. I also had a hibiscus margarita, which was refreshing and just the right mix of sweet and tart. The staff was super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the game.

If you’re looking for a fun place to watch football, enjoy good food, and sip on a tasty cocktail, Hero is definitely the spot. We’ll definitely be back for more game days!

Decided to try this place prior to a Mavs basketball game. They did not disappoint!

We arrived about an hour before the game. Very big building, seats a lot of people. We were seated within 2-3 minutes, a waitress brought us water before we even settled in our seats.
Menus are downloaded on your phone. I went for the western burger and it hit the spot! Very tasty, came with a large pile of seasoned fries.
Many different staff come by to help, not just your waitress/waiter which makes for very speedy service, not rushed though.

Loved the atmosphere, big screen tv’s everywhere. Will definitely return! Finished with about 25 minutes to spare before the game, perfect timing!

Came here for the convenience of being next door to the United Center. We were attending a hockey game that evening. Reviews were good for a sports bar, which we usually stay away from. Man did this place disappoint. Burger was overcooked, meat was not top quality, and tots were very greasy. Service was okay, but could have been better. Waitress was not super attentive. We will not be coming back.

What a great place. The service was fantastic. We had Bella and she was great. If she was busy and couldn’t bring our beers someone else did so they didn’t sit. My daughter had the chicken sandwich and said it was amazing. I had the all American Burger which was great and my other daughter and wife had the steak nachos and said it was great.

We will definitely go back.

Fun and exciting place to eat and drink. The Poke Salad was excellent and refreshing and wonderful I just wish I could have 2 more bowls . The Queso and Chips were delicious. The Hamburgers were beyond what I expected and should be a highlight of their menu. Cooked perfectly. They are amazing. Fries were just ok The Drinks were great. Little pricey but made well. Staff were all great and helpful and knowledgeable.

Wonderful spot to eat and drink before a Show at the American Airlines and they will validate parking for 2 hrs in a few of the garages nearby.

Stopped in for a drink on a Monday evening (no local game going on, so it wasn’t crowded at all). Great service. The drinks were a little pricey in my humble opinion. I’m sure it’s a great spot to hang out during game days.
