Excellent authentic Mexican food. Customer service is great. I had an enchiladas plate with rice and refried beans. My partner got there simple tacos. They were tasty and delicious. The soda cups are ginormous!!!! So happy they have this little restaurant in town. Definitely be back.

This place has good spicy green salsa, daily lunch specials that are delicious and filling.
One of the few places in town that has good barbacoa and tripa tacos.
Service is good and food comes out fast compared to other places. Food is a great value!
Only downside is the small parking lot.

The customer service alone is the reason I was ready to give them 5 stars. The front counter staff were so friendly and helpful.
When I let them know it was my first time there, they helped me narrow down my lunch options. Which was extremely helpful because I was on my lunch break and was in a hurry.
Now, the food was ok. I’ve had better tacos. Also, the spicy sauce wasn’t spicy enough. The beans and rice were good. I was disappointed, but at least their customer service was top tier.

Since I moved to college station from Houston, I have had bad luck finding an authentic tex-mex/mexican restaurant. But I have found one of my favorite restaurants in the Bryan/Cstat area. I had the pork Ranchero & my girlfriend had the enchiladas Verdes & both were delicious! Both the chip salsas were great, & I really like the green salsa for the chips. The food was reasonably priced, & the staff was very friendly & attentive. We are definitely coming back! I can’t wait to try their chili relleno!

Great food and waitresses are attentive. Only reason I left 1 star is because we have recently discovered the guy that handles the money up front is not giving the waitresses their tips . We gave our waitress a $50.00 Xmas gift and she did not receive it . Just use cash to tip . It saddens me that these women work hard and do not know what tips anyone leaves them . They are not allowed to see the credit card receipts to confirm their tips.

Pretty sure it is the same group as the old Mi Pueblito that we frequented often and of whom I was quite fond. Some things have changed. They continued to bring us food we didn’t order then proceeded to charge for it. Paid as it was a hill on which I didn’t want to die. Here are a few of the details: The casher pulled one of my largest pet peeves. He refused to acknowledge me as I stood in front of him for about five minutes while he was on the phone. When he hung up the phone, he continued to ignore my presence and talk to the kitchen staff through the window for about another two minutes. (It just doesn’t cost anything to make eye contact. I understand you may be busy and operating at your personal capacity, just don’t be offensive about it. Not looking at a person doesn’t make them not exist.) At this point, I told him what I had to eat (the way we used to pay at Mi Pueblito.) He told me he didn’t have my ticket (check I suppose,) then answered the phone again. The second call went exactly as the first one, eye contact, time and all.) By the time this was done, I had been attempting to pay the man for more than 10 minutes when he stated that he still didn’t have my ticket. He then shouts across the restaurant for a server to bring it to him and rings up the items we did not order. I made the wise decision to pay for the items because I couldn’t imagine the amount of time it would take for him to confer with whomever has the authority to remove them from the check, and at this point I wanted out! Once we left and were in a cleaner environment, the realization was made that we smelled like burnt grease as if we were standing over a hot fryer with oil that should’ve been replaced a long time ago. It was bad enough that I wen’t home, showered and changed clothes as I didn’t want anyone with whom I was meeting that day offended by the smell. They have some work to do in order to get back where they previously were. I hope they do, but I will not be trying it again until I hear reviews that negate this type of business. Thanks for your patience, it took me a week before I realized everyone needed to see this…

Average tex mex restaurant. Chile rellenos are, 9 of 10. the meat cuts in fajita tacos or carne guisada are to small. I will pick another option next time.

It’s a great place to go if you haven’t already, it was my first time and it was great. I had gotten the grilled chicken plate while my boyfriend got the chicken enchiladas with queso dripped over it instead of gravy. Both were delicious and a good amount to fill our appetite, definitely coming back.

My son took me here yesterday for my first (not last) time. I got the chicken enchiladas with their yummy gravy sauce. It was so delicious. Rice and refried beans also delicious. I’ve never liked charros but my son got me to try his and they are so good! They also have coca cola from Mexico with real cane sugar. Much better than ours. I always go check out the bathrooms for cleanliness when I go out to eat – nice & clean there. Very pleased with this place.
