The star of the show in our parties opinion was the soup bar. All of the soups were amazing. They were hearty, flavorful, and obviously made from scratch. I will be getting that the next time we go there.
In the spur of the moment we decided to stay overnight. We couldn’t find a room in the area we were at. So, we drove 2 hours for a room here.
This is not the typical hotel.
It is above storefronts.
To check in, you are given a code to enter. Then there are realtors keyboxes to retrieve your room key. (We reserved via phone.)
The room was very nice and was clean.
Upon entry, you see a desk area with a large closet. Coffee pot is on desk. (There was an ice bucket. But no way to get ice because the restaurant was closed for the night.)
The bathroom was huge.
In the bedroom area was the queen size bed, TV cabinet, large mini fridge and microwave, along with a sitting area with 2 wicker chairs.
I thought the hotel was quaint. Definitely not the typical hotel.
Now, for my not so good parts of the stay. And the reason, I gave only 4 stars.
This hotel is not handicap friendly. The parking is in the back.
I have a broken ankle and am using a knee scooter. The parking space was not level. And the parking lot was not very big.
To get in to the hotel, you have to cross over a “bridge”, with a sharp turn to the door.
If one was in a wheelchair, it would be frustrating. Especially if you have a large wheelchair or scooter.
(The door at the front of the building has stairs.)

The following is not the owners fault…
The other issue that should be noted, is even at 2am the street in front was noisy occasionally. If you are a light sleeper or not used to traffic noises, you might be frustrated.
Idk perhaps some thick drapes could help buffer the sounds???
I would like to see the owner make the hotel information separate from the restaurant.
Overall…we would definitely stay here again.
*I was tired and didn’t think of taking pictures when we first arrived.
