Heritage Kitchen will immediately be your next favorite spot! This Modern American restaurant in North Scottsdale is an absolute must. Chef Christopher Brugman has curated the most spectacular menu – nailing his Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and incredible ambiance. It is perfect for happy hour, date night or any social gathering. Sit inside and enjoy the moody and aesthetic ambiance or curl up next to the fire pit outdoors on their expansive outdoor patio. The indoor/outdoor bar is stunning and truly makes the space homey and welcoming. Highly recommend the Lobster Fideo Paella and Ragu Bianco. Heritage Kitchen is now one of our absolute favorite spots in Scottsdale!

Absolutely obsessed with Heritage Kitchen & Cocktails. Everything we had was genuinely exquisite, from the drinks to dinner to dessert. Not a single miss. We loved every bite.

We started with the Piatta Di Pane, which was the perfect way to kick things off. The bolognese tagliatelle was rich, comforting, and cooked to perfection. The lobster “fideo” paella was unreal, packed with flavor and easily a standout. And the banana & Nutella tart to finish? Next level. Still thinking about it.

This is one of those places where you can tell they care about every detail. Food, vibe, execution, all of it. Can’t wait to come back!

Heritage Kitchen + Cocktails in North Scottsdale became my favorite restaurant tonight. Straight 5 stars.

We started with the Tropic Like It’s Hot cocktail, which packs blanco tequila, pineapple, and that chili kick for a sweet-spicy adventure that’s perfect for happy hour.

Let me start off on the food with this: every dish they brought out was incredibly well thought out, turning dinner into a total tastebud adventure.

Grilled octopus was smoky and tender, with romesco and those nduja-spiced potatoes stealing the show. Lamb ribs? Fall-off-the-bone goodness, glazed in Calabrian honey and apricot – savory-sweet perfection. Instead of fighting over the three ribs, we doubled down on the order.

Squash toast nailed it too: crispy base, whipped ricotta, seasonal squash, and lemon arugula that just made you go – how the heck did they think of all this in one dish?

For dessert, butterscotch bread pudding was fluffy and rich, topped with vanilla ice cream and lime zest for a ridiculously fresh twist. Strawberry shortcake blew us away – somehow ever so crispy outside, soft inside, with fudge and subtle coconut flakes that made it next level.

Service on point, vibe chill but upscale. We’ll be back to tackle the bolognese pizza and lobster pasta on the beautiful patio for sure. Actually can’t wait.

Is it possible for a restaurant to make a person a foodie? Yes.

This is such an exciting addition for North Scottsdale. It is so apparent how much thought was put into this restaurant, from all the details in the decor to every dish on the menu. There is a large patio that is so nice for the winter months in AZ. Everything on the menu looks incredible, but we tried the beef tartare, lamb ribs and prime ribeye – all delicious!! Every person we encountered was clearly very well trained, even with how new the restaurant is – very knowledgeable and 5-star service.

This was my second visit to HKC, and I am pleased to say that it was even better than the first. For starters the staff is incredible and very friendly. The bartenders are without a doubt genius mixologists. There are plenty of great things to be said about the decor and amazing atmosphere. But at the end of the day it is all about the food for me. As a retired chef who has dined in my share of Michelin restaurants across Europe, I will say that HKC would definitely hold its own in that arena.

There are a number of restaurants in the North Scottsdale/McDowell Mountain Ranch area to choose from, but there are none as good as HKC. A truly Chef inspired restaurant concept!

All I can say is that it is about time, and I cannot wait to return!

P.S.- The Maine Scallop special was heavenly.

Tucked away in the McDowell Mountain Marketplace — easy to overlook, yet utterly unforgettable once discovered — lies Heritage Kitchen + Cocktails. The food is simply exceptional, and the service couldn’t be warmer or more attentive. We rather enjoy dining at the bar, and the team there is absolutely marvelous — Erin, Aaron, Casey, and Chianti, to name but a few.

The atmosphere has that rare charm which makes you want to linger just a bit longer, and the outdoor patio is both beautiful and wonderfully inviting. And I must mention the Espresso Martini — quite possibly the best I’ve had in ages, perfectly crafted and utterly delicious.

A genuine hidden gem. I can’t wait to return for another of those divine martinis and, of course, more of the fabulous food.

P.S. Did I mention the Expresso Martini

WOW WOW WOW!!

Heritage Kitchen is one for the books. I never thought that what I would normally see on TV would be right in front of my face allow me happily to explain.

I came across Heritage Kitchen on my Instagram timeline. I didn’t think too much of it and when I did, I followed and little did I know that was the time that they were starting to create Heritage Kitchen for individual such as myself and you to come in to enjoy fine dining. I stay connected with them throughout the process via Instagram, liking and commenting on posts and really just getting an idea and understanding of what I was about to endure.

Communication was continuously kept and when it was time to reserve a table, I did immediately and I will say I was excited when the day came to actually go to dinner. I brought my sister with me to Heritage Kitchen to enjoy the anticipated moment that turned out to become AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL night.

Upon arrival, we were taken back by the ambience, being greeted with a warm smile and guiding us to our table, but as we were walking we saw many different seating areas that brought a different comfortable feel to each area.

Once we were seated, we both smile with excitement. The table was decorated with elegance. Our waiter greeted us with a huge “it is my pleasure to serve you” smile. He was familiar with the drink and dinner menu. When he came back with our drinks and appetizers, we were taken back as to how breathtaking they were. WOW! Bartender ~ YOU DID YOUR THING!!!

When it came to our entrees, “OH MY (OUR) GOODNESS”!! We said “this is what you see on tv, but it is right here in front of us”. You can only get this type of feeling from a chef who knows what his audience wants, but most importantly you can tell making people happy through his food is his PASSION. Chef Chris Brugman worked with Gordon Ramsay, was on Chopped (Season 36 Episode 4) and had interactions with Martha Stewart. If you are wondering, “did we have dessert”, uhhhh yeh lol. Our dessert order came to us and we had to sit there and marvel at the fact of how beautiful the desserts were. My sister had a moment of a heartfelt nostalgia. Her dessert reminded her of her mother (who has passed away), her eyes watered up because the dessert took her back to her childhood and what her mother use to make her. “What a touching moment….right?” Chef Chris ~ THANK YOU!!

If you are in the Scottsdale area and you want to create a moment, if you want to feel like you are a part of someone’s HERITAGE, this is the place to go!!! I am confident it “will become” your go to spot because it is mine!!

I would like to say to Chef Chris and Heritage Kitchen team “THANK YOU”(matter of fact there are not enough THANK YOUs).

The night was an absolute true experience! THANK YOU for allowing us to SHARE your heritage and SHARE your dream!

I will say this in closing, experiencing YOUR HERITAGE has now become OUR HERITAGE!!!

The banana Nutella dessert was incredible. Fantastic wine list and so much more. Will be back soon!! So happy to have this close to home
