Visited Herencia Cuisine while on a weekend getaway at Exotic Zoo Resort. We got a to-go go order of Brussels sprouts, chicken ravioli, and Chicken pesto panini. The order took a while to make but the chef was kind so it balances the wait time. Plus he gave us extra chicken to make up for the wait. The Brussels sprouts and ravioli were amazing. Loved it. The chicken panini however was a little dry. It would have been 5 stars if the chicken was more juicy. But overall liked it!

I love this place! It was so unexpected. I’m big on burgers, and Christophe delivered! The order was fresh, fast, and flavorful. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the lovely presentation with the large portion on a paper plate! It’s obvious a whole lotta heart, soul, and passion goes in to this cuisine.

I got the mushroom burger and the wife got the mushroom risotto.
The burger was fantastic, it was huge and I could taste the quality ingredients. For $18 I was worried but after the first bite I was content. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Almost like they were twice baked. I don’t know what he fried them in but they tasted amazing.
Wife said the risotto was good but she was hoping it had a variety of mushroom and not just Bella mushrooms. I would definitely stop here again.

Christophe was asked to come be the chef for great friends of ours wedding. Let’s just say i see how they went from friends to family, I can’t say enough good about Christophe. Then he served up this meal for the rehearsal dinner. It was just short of life changing delicious! If you ever have a chance to eat food prepared by Chef you owe it to yourself to have a true experience in culinary excellence.

I will drive from Austin to eat at this food truck whenever the opportunity arises. Chef Christophe’s food is easily worth it. His skill and love of cooking shine through. All the meat and produce are fresh and local. Certainly a top three Texas burger (incredible beef that I had medium rare). The mushroom risotto was creamy and the shrooms were all exotic, with a white mushroom that tastes like crab. Interestingly, the fried brussel sprouts nearly stole the entire show, given how light and crispy they tasted. Don’t miss a visit if you’re in town, and seriously consider making a drive if you’re not. There’s a lovely covered dining area for enjoying your meal, and a gourmet coffee shop next door to top off wicked good experience. Thank you, Chef!

Christophe is an unbelievable chef. The menu was wonderful. He accommodated 2 vegetarians. All of our friends and family and close friends loved it. He has the best Personality along with his Sous Chef! It was such a fun night. We can’t wait for him to come back. This all took place in our home. 8

Excellent technique and top-notch ingredients from a tiny kitchen – will definitely return the next time we are anywhere near Johnson City. The Brussel sprouts, in particular, were brilliant to the point of being under-priced.
Christophe had several gluten free options available and was tracking to allergens overall, but the space limitations create some cross-contamination risk if you have a severe allergy.

Christophe has clearly been a chef for some time in some really hip places as the photos on his trailer show. Texas got lucky that Covid brought him out for opportunities. I’m a 1st timer, ordered the Burgonese and the Chicken Pesto Panini. Both were delicious but the Burger was probably in my top 5 ever. Stop by if you’re passing through to a winery in the Johnson City / Fredericksburg/ Hye / Blanco area. Worth going a bit out of your way!

We come thru Johnson city often on our way to Hilly Country and we always wanted stop here. The burgers we had were generous size and the food is made to order. The atmosphere is chill. The owner was such a gentleman and kind. He checked with us how our food was and asked our opinion.
Definitely stop by and try his menu!
