We were invited to experience this restaurant as part of @halifaxhappyhours and it exceeded our expectations. The decor and ambience was so inviting, it was spotless inside, and the service was wonderful. Some dishes were familiar, but some were all new and the flavours of each were unique. Everything was fresh, satisfying and we are looking forward to returning soon!

We recently dined at Herbs Pure Vegetarian and had a delightful experience overall.
Starters:
We tried the Gravy Manchurian, Noodles, and Gobi 65. All three dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. However, the noodles could have used a bit more soy sauce for color and taste, as it seemed a little light. The Gobi 65 stood out with its perfect crispiness and spice balance.
Main Course:
For the mains, we ordered Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, Paneer Pasanda, and Kadai Paneer. The Paneer Pasanda was mildly sweet and creamy, while the Kadai Paneer had a richer, slightly spicy profile, though the gravy was darker than expected. Despite requesting Indian spice levels, the overall taste was enjoyable and satisfying.
Drinks & Offers:
We ordered Coke, and as a special Father’s Day offer, we received complimentary Masala Papad with drinks, which was a pleasant surprise and very tasty.
Ambience & Service:
The ambience was warm and inviting, and the restaurant was well-maintained. The owner was extremely hospitable and welcoming. Special mention to the waitress – she was friendly, cheerful, and attentive throughout our visit, adding a positive energy to the dining experience.
Suggestions:
While the food quality was great, the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price. Increasing the quantity slightly would enhance the value for money.
Overall Experience:
A lovely vegetarian dining experience with great service, tasty food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again.

This little gem really needs to be experienced. Best flavours, just the right amount of spice, and an extensive menu. The atmosphere is perfect and our server was attentive and helped explain all the options we were inquiring about and added her suggestions. Definitely recommend

This was our first time eating here. We were very impressed to say the least.
Walking in first thing you notice is the cleanliness, the gentle background music and the kind greeting.
The ambiance was top notch.
Our table had the napkins specially folding with gold plated Cutlery and a glass bottle with water.
We were brought drink menus and food menus right away, no waiting.
There are so many choices. All vegetarian! The choices are also described underneath the dish with english stating what is in the dish.
The waitress was able to help us pick a dish we would like based on whether we liked spicy or sweet or in between.
The drink menu has very much variety in my opinion, however I was unable to try anything because I was driving but there were a few drinks on there that sounded amazing and I will definitely try them next time!
We did not wait long after ordering for our food to arrive. And we were not disappointed.
The presentation was very nice and the food , in my opinion, outstanding!
The saffron rice was beautifully cooked and 1 dish of it was enough for 2 to share.
I had the chickpea curry, (aromatic chole fusion),spicy but not too spicy.
Very filling and delicious.
The Naan was homemade to order and did not disappoint!
We also ordered the samosa fusion delight, it was a delight! It comes with 2 or 3 samosas with a sauce on top, but still managed to be crispy underneath. We were very very impressed with this restaurant and will 100% go back again. We can’t wait to try other dishes. Lately trying to find a new place to go for date night has been difficult. I cook alot on my own and find it very hard to find something to eat outside of my home that is worth going out and paying for, so it was a pleasure going here and having this experience.
Ambiance 10/10, food 10/10, service 10/10, cleanliness 10/10.

I had the food delivered by Uber eats. I’m not impressed by the quantity of the curry. It is definitely not worth $19.99 just for half of the container and 4 potato balls. On top of that, it said in the description that the dumplings are made of cashew and cottage cheese instead those were just spiced potato balls in the curry.

Very Disappointing Experience in Bedford – Not Worth the Price
We spent around $80 on our meal, and honestly, it didn’t live up to expectations. I tried the Manchurian and noodles—they were okay, nothing special. But the Platinum Thali was a big disappointment.
First off, it was served in a disposable tray. For $22, I expect proper utensils and plating—not something that feels like a food court takeout box. I actually clicked before and after pictures of the thali just to show how underwhelming it was.
The buttermilk included with the thali wasn’t even cold—not chilled, not even room temperature, just warm and unappetizing. The thali also came with a Gulab Jamun, which honestly tasted like it was straight out of a Walmart can—not fresh or flavorful.
We were originally going to order the Golden Thali, but for just $2 more, we thought we’d go for the Platinum. Big mistake.
Despite the restaurant not being busy, we had to wait 35 minutes just for the thali, while the noodles and Manchurian came in about 20 minutes. The only saving grace was using the Manchurian gravy to eat the roti because the actual thali items lacked flavor.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I genuinely hope management takes this seriously. If you’re advertising a “Platinum” experience, at least offer real utensils, properly served food, and fresh desserts.
