Loved the service and outdoor atmosphere. Today was perfect weather also.
We sat down and were handed silverware that still had actual food stuck to it. Not a smudge. Not a water spot. Literal leftover food.
Food-wise, I ordered rice and cheese enchiladas, which were fine. nothing amazing, but edible. My boyfriend wasn’t as lucky. He ordered a medium-rare steak, What arrived looked like it had never met heat, fire, or a cooking surface of any kind. This steak was RAW. Like it was still mooing. I genuinely don’t think it ever touched a grill maybe it was just shown a picture of one.
After dropping off the food, our waitress vanished into thin air. No check-in, no “how does everything look?” just gone. We sat there for about 10 minutes staring at this raw steak, wondering if someone would eventually come back.
When she finally returned, we sent the steak back. It came out “recooked” and somehow tasted worse. I didn’t even know that was possible. Please, for the love of all things holy, do not order the steak unless you enjoy suffering.
Between the dirty and bent silverware, the nonexistent service, and food that was either raw or inedible, this experience was beyond disappointing. I was really excited to try this place, but poor service and basic cleanliness issues completely ruined it. There are way too many good Mexican restaurants out there to settle for this.
