This is a very nice quaint breakfast.Slash lunch spot with a fantastic view of the Beaufort river. I ordered off menu.I asked for a club sandwich that gave me rye bread with swiss cheese, turkey, bacon, avocado bean sprouts and lettuce. The sandwich was very good. They would serve toasted. If I had to say anything negative about the sandwich, the bread was a little hard. And tend to try and cut the top of my mouth. As you can see, by the photo, the price 42 sandwiches was average.42 people, it was thirty six dollars, not including anything to drink. We both had water. I couldn’t find anything on the menu that that drew my attention.I asked the gentleman if he had a club sandwich and he told me he would be happy to make me one.Just let me know what I wanted on it.And so he made me a club sandwich on rye, that was really good. I took a video on the inside of the place after I shot the video five or six other people showed up for lunch. So savaria busy place during lunch hour. They do have a fresh bakery section with different kinds of desserts and bakers. It’s mostly a breakfast and lunch spot. Not for dinner. Very artisan, very cute, very well.Put together using all fresh ingredients.I would recommend it if you have extra time and extra money.

Used to be one of my favorite restaurants in all of Beaufort. Unfortunately, new ownership has altered the menu for the worst. Despite the same high price, the tuna melt now only features a single slice of bread, among other changes. Today’s sad cold “sandwich” on the left, a year prior delicious hot sandwiches on the right. Hopeful for improvements in the future but until then my $ goes elsewhere.

I was in Beaufort for work and decided to grab a bite to eat on my way out of town. I was throughly impressed with the portion of my food and friendliness of the staff. I got the daily special quiche and regular drip coffee. The cashier remembered my name throughout my visit which made me feel well taken care of. It was a little pricier than I expected but it was worth the visit.

Met with some friends for breakfast at 8am during the week. The pastry cabinet was amazing looking and what a great selection!! We ordered breakfast sandwiches and my croissant sandwich was flaky & so delicious. It was a bit pricey for breakfast. My sandwich and a coffee was in the $25 range. Next time I will probably get just something sweet.

Nice local Beaufort cafe.
Herban breakfast Croissant is a must try. The savory and cakes gets over very fast so it’s best to come for breakfast.
Would recommend to try anything that would be made on the spot like eggs.
Cakes and croissants are amazing especially the Almond Croissants.
A little pricey I personally felt but overall a great experience and comes with a great view.

Loved the warm atmosphere in this place, wonderful customer service. I really enjoyed the experience, the downtown and waterfront views from their outdoor dining. Their Herban breakfast croissant was pretty good the only thing I didn’t really like was how greasy the croissant was but other than that a very yummy option. The avocado brownie was too sweet and heavy for my taste and I loved that they have fresh green juice options, it takes a while tho but that because they make it right when you order it. Tried the caramel latte with oat milk and was really good. I really appreciate the vegan and healthy options they offer, prices are a little high but I can see why and + is downtown. I would definitely recommend them and I’m absolutely coming back! they are a gem in our downtown area.

My husband went in this afternoon to purchase one of their awesome cheese danish. To my surprise it wasn’t a cheese danish. The girl behind the counter said “it’s got dough and cheese so it’s a danish”. No danish here. Not like we use to buy from them. It was bread with a small amount dry sweet cream cheese in the center for $8.00. Needless to say when I tried this “thing” it was horrible and down right nasty. It went in the trash. What a waste of $8.00. I have a picture if you would like to see it. What has happened to this great little restaurant? Not going back.

When you walk five or six miles around Beaufort debating whether or not to steal 50 pounds of Spanish Moss (I didn’t) — you get hungry.
Stop here! A wonderful grab and go market with a super friendly staff! Vegan options available – bonus!!

Not a bad spot by any means for Beaufort, but not the Herban Market and Cafe I frequented last year. Vegan options have almost disappeared. Today, it was dead in that space when it’s usually packed out on Saturdays. Hope the new owners reconsider their changes. Please bring back the beet Reuben!
