We ordered for pick up so can’t give a full review on service. W got the chicken and waffles, with a side of bacon. the herb (schnitzel) with potato salad and the cucumber salad. Also the burger option. For the chicken and waffles, the chicken was a but on the dry side but still good. They did not give is the side of bacon tho. No big deal, we didn’t call amd complain. Just let it go lol. The schnitzel could use some kind of dressing on it. Was good, but considering no kind of condiments, it came out a little dry as well. So if you order you may wanna add your own. My son loved the burger so no complaints there lol. The potato salad was really good. The cucumber salad I feel would have been better if they sliced the cucumbers just a little thinner. Also if your used to cucumber salad from Germany, this one isn’t as creamy. We would definitely go back, just feel like it could use a small amount of changes. Of course to each their own this is obviously my opinion. Very cute and welcoming small town atmosphere tho

Cute little dinner, staff was great, and the food was excellent. I ordered th Jaeger schnitzel and my wife the chicken fried steak. We used to have to go all the to gatesville for a good chicken fried steak, but not any more I will go out on a limb and say the best chicken fried steak in the area.

Great spot in Copperas Cove, friendly staff, great service. Good prices, nice menu, the fries were fantastic. Salad bar is a nice touch, they even have a little shop. Great coffee, homey vibe, very shabby chic. They really make you feel welcome here, this may be a staple of our Cove visits going forward. Connie, and really the whole staff were great. They were even open to us bringing a ta like of 8 on a Sunday morning.

My mother and I went for lunch and was immediately impressed with the decor and quick service to be seated. Our waitress was sweet and offered recommendations for us to try. The food came out quickly and hot. What I loved most about this place is the price point and the amount of food you get. This is a nice hidden gem in Cove.

4 1/2 stars if it was possible to rate it that way. Simple solid good food. We had a BLT, an English muffin burger, and an extra biscuit. Coffee was decent. BLT and burger were very good. Fries were well seasoned. The macaroni salad was very good, well seasoned but not over dressed. Biscuit was acceptable, I rate it a solid good. At a guess, it was a buttermilk biscuit with cold butter mixed in. It was an oddly comfortable but quaint place that we plan on visiting again. Thankfully, not fast food, but sit down and enjoy food

I apologize for the length, want to give the full review. Doesn’t matter if you are dining in or picking up, be ready to wait. I drive for a delivery service and have picked up orders from here and waited over 30 minutes for them. To the point to where I no longer accept a pick up if I see that it is from here. Today, my husband and I decided to give them a try and went there for breakfast. Atmosphere is great, very welcoming, very quiet. You seat yourself, nicely decorated, and very clean. The staff are great, friendly and attenuative. Came around often for coffee refills. The coffee was okay, not the best but for sure not the worst I’ve ever had. The wait time was insane, we waited at least 45 minutes or longer for our food. I ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon. My husband ordered French toast with bacon. The food was not good…. I wish I had taken pictures to share… the bacon was burnt, my eggs were raw.. I asked for over medium to medium well. I told her I wanted the yellow a little runny. One egg was great. Then I cut into the second, it was straight raw, clear, snotty looking egg. My husband was trying to cut into his French toast, something he has ordered every single time we have gone out for breakfast during the 30 years we have been married, so he has eaten a lot of French toast. He could not cut through it with his fork. When he flipped it over he discovered it was the end pieces of the loaf of bread. In all his years of eating French toast he has never been served the end pieces of bread. We wanted to like it, but will not be returning.

I didn’t know of this place until I saw a billboard sign advertising the business.

Let’s begin by saying this was a cute quaint little diner. The waiter “D” was very impressionable and attentive he worked alone and was doing a good job engaging with the customers. Now the food, I had a taste for catfish and fries. They were out of fries (no problem) so I was able to substitute it for something else. Food didn’t take too long to come out but unfortunately it was lackluster and didn’t leave much to be desired. My catfish wasn’t cooked thoroughly and we also ordered chicken in waffles which wasn’t all that appealing as well. We decided to take the check and just leave but we did show the server our issues and he was apologetic and kind. Maybe an off day for the cook? I did however like the ambience of this diner and has the potential to be a great place to visit
