Had 2 coney dogs and fries. The coney sauce was great. Had a piece of red raspberry pie that tasted great. The owner and waitresses were very friendly.

We went here over the Ohio Farm Science Review show. I enjoyed the place, however, they were not staffed/prepared for the groups of people that came for the show. I did have the stuffed pepper, which was worth the wait! The food was delicious, as for the pie statement that they make. I had a piece of custard pie and it was less than stellar.

My wife and I went for lunch. Service was quick and courteous. Everything we ordered was delicious! And the pie… I am not a crust person, but I ate every bite of it! I had a piece of strawberry/rhubarb pie with ice cream. I don’t see many stores or restaurants with that kind any more. Nothing extravagant, but will definitely be coming back! It’s also nice to know you’re supporting a local business.

I’ve been to Henry’s a couple of times. It may seem like a strange place if you are used to established restaurants. It is a converted gas station. As I am writing this there are four other reviews, all positive. I think they graded on the curve. I’ll give it to you straight. Henry’s has good service, at least it has every time I have been there. The coffee is okay. The pies, said to be amazing, are actually only average at best, again, based on the two or three pieces of pie I have had. The food isn’t anything wonderful, but it’s okay… I think. That hesitation leads me to my next observation. If you are male, do not go to the men’s restroom in Henry’s. That’s all I’ll say about that except the condition of the men’s room made me leery as to the purity of the food. I mean, if the restrooms are nasty, what does the kitchen look like?

You can definitely tell they cook with a microwave which is unfortunate. Food presentation was horrid and could see the cook from where I was sitting. He looked sloppy and rushed. I was one of 4 people in the diner at the time, 2 of which were at the same table. The other was with me. Ordered burger and fries. Only reason why I’m leaving this with 2 stars is because our waitress was fantastic. I want to say her name was Amanda or Amber or something along those lines. She was courteous, kind, and made being at that diner manageable. Won’t go back unless they come up with a way to cook using their stoves so it actually tastes like I’m in a restaurant and not my break room at work with a frozen TV dinner in front of me that I paid $12 for.

Only one person working in the whole restaurant. He was the greeter, the waiter, the cook, the cashier, and answering phone. We were the only ones in the place. They have fish on the menu, but were out of tartar sauce, and nothing to make any! The fountain sodas were out, so they had canned sodas. The pie special was custard pie. It looked really old and was flat like a pancake!. This place could be a gold mine if someone bought it, cleaned it up, and knew how to run a restaurant! The owner just doesn’t seem to care.

Great food and service. Nice old fashioned restaurant currently under outside renovations but promises to maintain the historic feel of the place. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for comfort food and amazing pies.

The owner (I presume) is an extremely rude woman and I do not recommend this place to anyone. I drive truck and parked there overnight (out of the way, might I add), thinking “hey, this would be a good place to park, I can get breakfast before I drive the final mile to my delivery point”. I get a loud pounding on my door in the morning with her hysterically telling me I “need to leave, trucks are tearing up her parking lot (which was in terrible condition already), it’s rude to not even ask (I arrived at 10:30 PM, when they close at 5 pm)…”. I tried to explain that I planned on getting breakfast this morning and she just kept on hysterically ranting about how I needed to leave. Also, no signage saying no trucks allowed, so no indication this freakout would be happening.

I used to love this little local place until today. They are open til 7 the open sign is lit up in the window. You should accept customers until 7. If you don’t want customers then turn off your sign. We were basically told to leave when we talked in at 640. Guess they didn’t need our business today or in the future
