Visited for the 1st time today & was very impressed. Very clean & inviting restaurant, staff were welcoming, service was perfect & prompt, the food was amazing & good value for money. My partners portion of haddock was huge too! Would definitely recommend Henry’s to anyone visiting Hunstanton. We will be returning. Thankyou so much 🙂

Me and my friends were craving for Fish and Chips and the only place we would normally go is Henry’s of Hunstanton. It is always our go to place, they have the best fish and chips rain or shine, plus a variety of sides or prawns and squid on its own a perfect combination to dine near the sea. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. All the best Henry’s. We will be back soon! ☺️

Visited here on Tuesday 2 December after a long drive to Hunstanton from Doncaster. There were only 3 other couples in and the music was a nice level which suited us. We both had cod and chips, him with curry sauce and myself with mushy peas. The food was lovely , bit too many chips bit we always think that wherever we go , and for me, the beer batter was just that bit overcooked. Having said that, it did not detract from our enjoyment. We felt the price was a little on the steep side but we know from previous experience that Fish & Chips in Norfolk tend to be a little more expensive than our Northern prices. Service was good but then it was a quiet Tuesday. Would we return, most certainly. We enjoyed it and it was a nice start to our mid week break in the area.

A real let down and £40 hit to leave hungry. Bitterly cold day surely better design to break wind cold flooding venue
So waited half empty no one said hello to seat us. Sign said problems with supplies.
We asked politely for a table for 2. My fish had a smell and tasted bad. Told member nothing done.
We asked kindly for sauce the waiter moved onto another table and asked if they want sauce and we turned invisible
Chips very poor really bad
Batter had a chalky texture rushed perhaps
Really disappointed we just left the plates and brought a sandwich in town

This is rated one of the best fish and chip shops
Plenty of room inside and out and it’s clean
Got seated quickly and the food came out quickly.
Was hot and fresh. The portion size was ok.
The cod you can tell is of the highest quality
The fish was a bit too greasy
I would say and extra £2 per fish and chips to get this cooked in vegi oil seemed a lot
The chips are not like normal chip shop chips
I know coming here it was going to be expensive. But just over £50 for two fish and chips and two drinks I thought was a lot

Really good fish and chips place. Service was brilliant, the ladies there were so welcoming and friendly. Tasty cod with chips and a choice of side and salt and pepper squid with chips and salad along with a glass of local white wine.

Beautifully located by the sea front the restaurant has outdoor seating as well as a large indoor restaurant. They also offer takeaways which is a nice touch because if you fancy eating by the sea front one can take their meals and have them there.
The quality of food is excellent and good value for money. We ordered the kids meals which they really enjoyed and 3 adult mails which were equally good quality. The staff were very good in giving us a nice table big enough for our party size (wasn’t booked), the service was very prompt and good arrived very quickly.
I would highly recommend this place if you want good quality fish and chips.

The chips from Henrys of Hunstanton are golden, crisp and fluffy inside, perfectly salted and comforting. Freshly fried, they taste of the seaside and make every visit feel like a treat. Simply great.My cat loves it here as shown in the photo, he ate all the scampi and enjoyed the experience.

Inside the cocoon of bubbly, crispy batter, which was not greasy, was a perfect cod fillet that fell apart. Chunky flakes of white cod just melted in our mouths.
Accompanying the cod were plenty of chips and a good portion of mushy peas that wasn’t vinegary. Not the cheapest place in Hunstanton, but worthwhile a visit.
Food service was very quick and our meals came before our drinks were served, which was good but it was a hot day and both of us were thirsty so couldn’t tuck straight in until the drinks came.
