I stopped by Henry’s Hawaiian Grill in Goodyear and tried their Katsu Lunch Special. The chicken was cooked decently — juicy enough and breading had a good crunch. Unfortunately, their katsu sauce really let the dish down. It lacked depth and flavor — felt flat next to the otherwise solid components.
Service was friendly and the ambiance was casual and relaxed. I would go back to try something else (maybe their poke or loco moco) but for katsu, I’m left wanting more.
Pros: decent chicken, good portion size, pleasant setting
Cons: weak sauce, could use more bold flavor on the finishing touches
Would I recommend? Yes — just go in with tempered expectations, especially on the sauce game.
With Ono preparing to open up down the street, it may become a battle.

I don’t care for Hawaiian food, but my husband loves it and we were treating him. We got the mixed plate, the Hawaiian shrimp and teriyaki chicken. I will absolutely go back for more! Every dish was generously portioned (second meal), served fast, and was so incredibly delicious. The shrimp was so sweet and crispy. The teriyaki chicken was perfectly grilled and juicy. The mixed plate had short ribs, pork and chicken and each was savory and juicy. I will only eat Hawaiian food at Henry’s!

NOT HAWAIIAN MACARONI SALAD! Tried Henry’s for a taste of home. Teriyaki Chicken was slightly bitter but the Mac Salad was super juicy and not Hawaiian Recipe. Henry’s should go to Hawaii and eat at Zippy’s, Rainbow Drivein or ANY plate lunch.

Love this place. The flavor is perfect. Everything is made fresh, you can taste it. Sweet chili sauce is to die for. I eat from here 4 times a month and it’s become part of my life. Forget ono Hawaiian, this is the place to go.

Dined in and ordered the katsu chicken and the Hawaiian mix island combination. The food was fresh and really tasty. The service was great. They greeted us as soon as we walked in and the staff was friendly. The seating area was very clean. I will definitely keep coming back.

Fresh food at reasonable price. Love the variety of menu items and food served hot Tried their popular three meat dish and it was very good served with rice. Was not a fan of their macaroni salad and will substitute with white rice next time. Their shrimp pineapple rice is delicious too

I took my daughter there for dinner today. We got the garlic shrimp in tail w rice and cabbage, and the garlic noodles. Everything was so delicious. It came out quick but tasted fresh. We even got a Hawaiian sun drink that was lychee green tea and then some almond cookies. We loved it, I can’t wait to go back and try more!

This is a small whole in the wall place, however that is part of what makes it so good. The food taste so authentic and has lots of flavor.
The portion of food is good for the price of the dish. We couldn’t finish our ates of food last night.
I also ordered the fried calamari and was surprised they didn’t offer marinara sauce, however the house made sauce that comes with it was a nice change up to my usual.

Today was my first time visiting this place.
I have to admit, this place is amazing. Lots and lots of food!!! The portions are very generous. I strongly recommend it. I ordered two meals and four egg rolls and only paid $30. But surprisingly, you could feed four people!
