Overall very disappointed. The grits had a strange flavor. Not cheesy at all (they said butter and cheese in the grits). The crab cakes were just OK – the sauce however was awesome. The Thai Chicken wrap as a salad was just very blah – girlled chicken with a sweet Thai sauce on top and some grilled onions (also tomatoes that I asked to be omitted – but got anyways). We were the only people there during dinner time…… That was our first clue that this wouldn’t be a great meal.

Great customer service, fast service, hot hot crab boil and very flavorful! The combos are great for the combination of seafood and the price. I loved the sauce!! It was a combination of all the sauces and it was finger licking good! The quantity was perfect and the combo fed 3 adults! Love the corn, potatoes, and sausage too. Definitely coming back, dont sleep on Henrys crab shack.

So food is one of those things if it’s good i have no problem spending my money on it….. when this place first opened it was amazing….. now… they are set up like a fast food restaurant but still just as expensive as ever. Soooo you can’t sit and order your food you have to stand and make up your mind while standing. That’s not even good for business because you want the customers to be comfortable so they spend more….. then they ask for the tip up front. of course I didn’t leave one. And didn’t because i had to get up to FILL MY OWN DRINK. ‍♀️ The owner is jumping over dollars to pick up pennies. Not smart. My biggest issue was the kitchen and restrooms. OMG. This is in my top 10 most disgusting restaurants I’ve been to. Snapped a couple pictures quickly. Looked like they hadn’t cleaned in a while. Nasty nasty nasty. The food did still taste good but I won’t be back. I’m surprised they passed health inspection. I used to manage a restaurant and I know If the health inspector walked in right then they would have failed. I asked the employee to pass along my complaint and the response was “I will definitely pass that along but I haven’t seen him in a long time”. Well it shows.

De freaking licious! I loved the decor, vibe, service, and food! I absolutely love this place. They are very expensive but so delicious its worth it. Its the first place I’ve gone whose most spicy level made me sweat and cry a little and I eat extremely spicy food. Next time I’m getting level 4. Lol. Their oysters were phenomenal. Fresh, juicy, and perfect in every way. Buckets of beer were reasonably priced. Alligator bites were okay. I’m a little picky bc I’ve had fresh alligator in place out in the middle of no where. They were more like alligator steaks. Their alligator was your typical chain restaurant alligator bites. Their crab, shrimp, crawfish, lobster, corn, sausage, and potatoes were to die for! I don’t like crawfish but these were amazing. There garlic butter sauce is incredible. I cant wait to go back. They didn’t have the funnel cake or cheesecake when I went but I hope they bring it back. This is great for a fun night outs
or special occasions. I think price point could be worked on a little bit but either way I’m going back. NOM NOM NOM!
P.s. prepare to get messy!

I was very dissatisfied and disappointed in the quality of food I received. Firstly, I asked for a pound of Snow crab but I got a piece of King Grab. I paid $69 for a few shrimps and a piece log crab leg and a small frozen margarita. My bag did not even have corn, sausage or a potato in it. The seasoning was missing and it tasted as bland as it looks.

I too am from New Orleans so the neighborhood places we take for granted back home are kinda hit and miss around here. First time, ordered to go, there was a mistake and it took awhile for them to re-cook the order. It seemed like they had a new guy in the kitchen, the proprietor was watching and I could see him doing some teaching through the door.

The fish and shrimp are better imo than other similar places close by. Less than 5 stars because I was missing an extra side when I got home, but just fries, not a big deal. I see from other reviews that they’re coming out of a re-model so I understand little mistakes, the food is good that’s more important.

Growing up near New Orleans, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the food. At some Cajun places you can taste that the seafood has been flash frozen, but this one tasted fresh! The batter was good and great flavor. We tried the spicy fried catfish (which had good flavor without being over spicy), and a fried shrimp basket, which was equally good. They have regular, seasoned and sweet potato fries options. They also had a Stewart’s Soda fountain, which was a great bonus. The staff was helpful and helped us decide what we wanted. Great all around for our first visit. The only dangerous thing is that it’s close to home and I might go TOO often. 😉

Would have 5 stars if they had beer on their tap! Food was definitely 5 stars though! Wouldn’t change a thing about it!

The messiest and most delicious crawfish I’ve had in a very long time. The gloves seemed silly and yet the best idea. I had all the seasons mixed.

Perfect local, casual place to grab a bite. The boiled shrimp and crawfish are high protein low carb favorites. They have salad, chicken, and several other options for non-seafood eaters too. Henry’s does serve beer and some other drinks. Not a full bar. Not a bar. A delicious basic seafood place that you could get a drink at.
