Great soul food. The chicken was crispy and moist. It came out nuclear hot. I had to wait until I could eat it. The sides were fantastic, as well. The greens were cooked perfectly, and had great seasoning.
The service was friendly, but slow. Very slow. This is a place where you order ahead. I’m still giving them 4/5 because the counter guy was nice.
The worst part about my experience was dining there. The tables were full of crumbs, and the floors were disgusting. I kept telling myself that the kitchen was clean. The kitchen was clean, right?
Anyway, the food was awesome. The rest of the experience hovered between meh, and ewwww.

When I say I want my money back baaaaaby count y’all days this food was horrible the best thing I tasted was the Kool aid and it wasn’t all that for the price But I will say the cashier Tasha has above and beyond customer service and is very customer friendly but that food and whoever cooked it ️ throw the whole kitchen in the ️ meatloaf undescribable was it even meat?( The world may never know) The macaroni was cheesy with no season collard greens(just un seasoned and no meat in it) sweet potatoes was mediocre fried chicken was ok but mind u I bought 5 dinners at almost 24 a piece. And had 2 large drinks basically everything that was on the menu give or take a few items and flat out NEVER AGAIN DO U HEAR ME …I’m a foodie and if yo food I’m def gonna tell u…and promote u twice as hard if ur black owned but baby this was trash somebody tell the owner of Bungalow Milwaukee we need a refund

Oh my gosh!!! We were in Milwaukee for a sibling reunion. My brother, who lives there, took us to this restaurant. The food was great!!! I had fried chicken, mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. My sister- in-law said the ox tails were so good, and I want to slap yo mama!!!! The people were friendly, and when I go back to Milwaukee, I will absolutely go back.

I never eat catfish. I went there not knowing they only served catfish. I ordered the catfish anyways. This is the best fish I’ve ever had in my entire life. I ate it with no sauce. No hot sauce. Nothing. I ate it just the way it came. It was amazing.
I will be going back most certainly. My brother lives right next to this place. This is my new favorite place to get fish.
It was a whole filet of fish. It was $15 for three pieces plus french fries. It was a huge bed of fries. I was full. And I was hungry. I am a big boy, with a big boy’s appetite.
I literally cannot give this place enough stars or enough accommodations. This place is somewhere you need to go if you like catfish at all or fish in general.

We had smothered chicken and dressing and gravy collar / green beans candied yams macaroni and cheese and I am too full and I brought home some peach cobbler. Mmmm delicious!
