This was our fist time here and we were so excited to try Henry’s. Unfortunately, it was not at all worth it. Our waitress never asked us if this was our first time here or anything of the sorts to make us feel welcomed. She did ask if we wanted something other than water, but didn’t give us options, just directed us to the paper on the table. Once we said that we didn’t want a shareable, she said that’s fine, I’ll give you a minute and then disappeared for 15 minutes, we never saw her running food or anything… just gone..
We ordered our food, was never asked what we wanted for a side or if we wanted anything changed on our food. When our food got delivered, it looked great.. but that’s about where the greatness stopped. My husband’s bacon was burnt to a crisp, literally. My food tastes like salt, nothing else.. just salt. Our waitress never came to check on us once our food was delivered. We understand that it was before the dinner rush, but you would think everyone would be more attentive for that reason. Overall, would not recommend this place to anyone.

We had my wife’s 30th birthday here and they really took care of us. Wonderful server and service. Food was great. highly recommend.

Absolutely the most disgusting Thanksgiving meal ever. Truly. Hanger steak was chewy, they had no vegetables left (other than collard greens) @ 3 PM, and mashed potatoes tasted like boxed garbage. No mixed vegetables or green beans available even though they were supposed to come with a meal. Highly disappointed for $65. If y’all can’t stay stocked with what you feature on a menu for at least 75% of the time you are open that is ridiculous. Not one staff person looked like they wanted to be there. And they absolutely should be off and home with their families. So, maybe you guys should just close next year and give your employees a break. And not waste people’s time and money. Food is garbage. Took steak home for the dog.

The drinks came out quickly and food was spectacular. In particular the Wilmington Burger is really good and if burgers are your thing I highly recommend it if you are visiting the area.

I’ve been a fan of Henry’s for a long time. It’s a Wilmington staple restaurant in my opinion. Megan was our server, snd she made our experience great from start to finish. She took the time to tell us about the food and drink specials before we ordered. It was early in the day, so we got the bar bites that are available in between lunch and dinner hours. Spinach dip, mozzarella sticks, and cheeseburger sliders all for under $10 each! We were sooo happy with the food and Megan’s service that we left a generous cash tip. While we were walking out, she ran up to us and graciously thanked us for our generosity. We will obviously be back!

We came to Henry’s for Mother’s Day brunch and my wife had the most amazing experience! From the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the beautifully prepared dishes, everything was perfect. We shared the open-face omelette with smoked salmon and capers—absolutely delicious—and the stuffed French toast, which was rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent. The staff was attentive and kind, and the entire experience made the day feel extra special. Highly recommend for a weekend brunch or any special occasion!

We live nearby and have ordered take-out from Henry’s a few times – each time we’ve been impressed by the food and customer service. Super easy to order by phone and a quick and easy pickup at the bar. My pregnant wife has been craving a good salad and mashed potatoes and Henry’s has hit the mark consistently. The last time, there was a minor mix-up with our order (nobody’s fault, just a miscommunication), and they quickly fixed it, made a new version of the dish, and even threw in a complimentary cheesecake slice for the trouble. Recommended!

We had a birthday for our 95 yo aunt at Henry’s recently. Our server was wonderful. The food was excellent and it was a wonderful experience for everyone even other patrons in the restaurant!
