Myself and my mom had a wonderful time at Henry Wong. The service was fantastic from start to finish — the staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented; you can really taste the quality in every dish.
I’m especially grateful for how kind and considerate the team were with my mum, who has walking difficulties. They went out of their way to help her and make sure when we left she got into the taxi safely, which meant a lot to me.
Overall, a truly outstanding dining experience. Highly recommended!

This is certainly the top Chinese restaurant in Birmingham.
The food was amazing especially Yung Sung and the Laziji lamb. The food shown itself that the chef was very delicate in preparation and cooking. The lamb was well marinated and very tender. Other dishes were also outstanding compared to other Chinese restaurant.
The staff were amazing. They were friendly and, at the same time, very professional. Michael, the manager, was polite and professional in what he’s doing.
The atmosphere was great and classy. The music was cozy and classy.
Overall, we can say that this restaurant is very impressive and we will surely visit again.

Another meal at our favourite Cantonese restaurant. Unfortunately the food wasn’t as good as previously visits. We were told a soon as we sat down that we would have to vacate the table in 2hours. I was meeting my old school friend who I’d not seen on 30 years, we did ask if we could sit anywhere else and was put on another table, why wasn’t we put on this table all night? It’s put us off going again, we travelled from Dorset and my friend from California, not a good start to the evening

Henry Wong has always been one of Harborne’s favourite restaurants, but the fairly recent change of hands has made great improvements to the standard of the food and service. The menu has lots of choice and the staff are friendly and efficient. The set meals – particular the banquet dinner – offer great value for money. You really can’t go wrong booking a table here!
