Excellent Food and Service with a Smile. Bailey, who manages the front of the house is very accomodating and approachable. For example, restaurants have reasons that substitutions are not usually accepted, however when they are willing to forgo their policies in consideration of specific issues, in this case medical reasons, it shows they have a heart and are not just corporate shmorporate. Even though Hendrix is owned by a restaurant group they function more like a family restaurant, offering a unique set of restaurants with diverse, chef driven cuisines all of which use the highest quality ingredients, local artisanal products usually found in large city restaurants think San Francisco or Miami restaurants.
Fortunately, Hendrix is not a national chain and this remains one of the reasons that I really like the staff here…they are treated like people rather than disposable assets (Cheesecake Factory anyone)..
When it starts with good people from the top down, it functions more like a family restaurant which I promise is much more desirable to clients and less and less common these days. Kudos to the staff at Hendrix, where even late at night, when the shift ends in 15 mind… Great food is a reason to pick a restaurant but Professional Service is the reason people come back. Thanks Again.

We decided last minute to go to Hendrix, could not have asked for a better time from the food to the service. You really can not go wrong with ordering anything from this establishment.
Misa and Lindsay were great bartenders and were always attentive with great recommendations.
We started with the calamari and it was cooked perfectly.
My fiancé got the off menu special, Atlantic Salmon & risotto and it was delicious!
I had the Burger and it came out exactly how I wanted it, I would highly recommend either of these dishes!
We finished off with the Espresso Bread Pudding and this was the first time we have had this, it did not disappoint, I will be back just for this!
The chef Luis came out personally to check if we enjoyed everything and if he could get us anything. I would recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.

Happy hour is great here! Hours are 4pm to 6pm and they have a good cocktail menu for about $11 to $12. Had a delicious OC Mule with orange Stoli. Some of the best appetizers with red pepper hummus and pita chips. The calamari was super crispy and was served on top of an arugula salad with a yummy aioli. All apps around $10 to $12. Nathan was our server and gave good suggestions, friendly and timely. Even brought us extra chips for the hummus without having to ask.

I have ordered here a few times since it’s near my house and I tried their beef pasta before but this time they gave me PORK sausage pasta instead of beef. I grew up without eating PORK, and i can taste the difference. Gross! Plus they put bread inside the box with pasta which made it soggy and turns out only half portion. What a scam! This is not my first time having issue with their deliveries, so I finally decided to write about it.

Good food and great service. Looking for a fabulous burger and fries? How about juicy roast chicken or prime rib? Hendrix does a great job with comfort food and classics.
We ordered garlic shrimp appetizer, chicken poblano soup, pesto chicken pizza, and the harvest salad. Everything was delicious. Portions are large and we took home a lot so avoid the temptation to over order.

Amazing looking restaurant. The sign outdoors and the interior are stunning. The wedge salad, the wings, and fried calamari were great. The meat plate was mixedm. While the prime rib was good, the lamb, pork chops, and chicken were forgettable. It would have been nice if the had stronger sauces available and the meat was more tender or if the meat had stronger spices on the outside. More au jus could have helped as well.

Hendrix has been a place we liked to go to for Happy Hour. The atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated. It has been hit or miss the last few times we’ve gone. Sometimes the place is really hopping with the bar full of locals. Other times, more recently, it has been very quiet and dead . I noticed that it’s starting to look a little shabby, especially the booths that have the vinyl back cushions starting to crack and peel, which is very unattractive to the point I didn’t want to sit there. The food was so-so with the dinner salad with chicken being boring and bland. The $5 Taco Tuesday is a great deal, with the chicken taco being delicious. The $12 dollar chicken pesto pizza is also a very good deal. The prices have been going up so it’s not as good a deal during happy hour as it once was. They really need to clean and maintain the place better, as indicated by the telltale signs of deferred maintenance including dusty ceiling light fixtures. The service is usually very friendly and attentive.

One of things you may notice when you walk in is their chicken… and you should definitely get it. It’s a party for the taste buds. I usually go for drinks and apps with a buddy of mine. Recently went for Father’s Day and got the ribeye and egg special. It was great. I think I was sort of hoping for a steakhouse cut of ribeye. It was still very good… but I think it was a little on the pricier side for what it was…. But so is everything nowadays. What really blew me away was this drink that was bartender’s choice. Bourbon, something, something and whipped egg white. I overheard it was called the passion daddy. So good!!!! Great ambiance, absolutely great service. The menu items don’t disappoint. I love that it’s so nearby.

Very delicious appetizers! Highly recommend the Hamachi, never thought of fish with fruits, but it was the perfect combination! The lamb sandwich was really tasty. Fries could be double fried, but not bad.
