I really can’t say enough positive things about this establishment. The food is exemplary of what I would love for the world to know of STL BBQ. From the meats to the sides everything is prepared expertly and you can literally taste the love. Want to experience customer service on a unique level? Check out Kim at the bar who not only slings the finest cocktails and spirits a person could expect for these more than reasonable prices (seasonal rotating signature cocktails $12ish but she knows her meats as well as her people. She and the rest of the well managed staff have you covered.

Absolutely amazing food! Loved the choice of sauces. Drinks were great, the atmosphere is low lit and inviting. Our waitress Kim was super sweet and attentive. Would give it a 12 out 10!! Definitely will be back when we are in the area

Visiting from Connecticut for the first time, so we had to try some Missouri BBQ. The food was delicious! The drinks were pretty good too. My son is a picky eater and he loved this place. The service was A+, our server Kim was super friendly and helpful

They ran out of the two beers they have. The Rib tips I had were COLD and no flavor – I could only get one down. The half rack my wife ordered had no flavor and were also COLD. They did not have Collard Greens and Fried Green Tomatoes. We ordered the biscuits and they were very hard – I would not pay for them at all. The food was not good at all. We were there at 1830 hours. The only bright spot on this family dinner was the waitress Kayla. She had a very positive spin on our experience. The smoked wings were excellent as was the dinner salad. My family and I eat out a lot. Unless something changes there, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Hendrick’s is located in a cool spot. An old neighborhood inside the old waterworks building. This antiquity lends to the atmosphere.

We got the whole shebang. It was plenty of food for 3 full-grown men, but why not add a half rack extra…? 😉

The chicken was very close to being too dry. The chicken wings were tasty but also dry. The brisket, pulled pork, and ribs were all acceptable. Moist and taste were good.

The sides were mediocre at best. It wasn’t anything mind-blowing. They were just there. Beans were plain, coleslaw was OK, and the collard greens too.

I would recommend it to other visitors, but I am sure there are better places around. Waitress was attentive and, even though new, made recommendations.

Beautiful building .
Inside is dark but well lit if that makes any sense … The portions are not big. We got the platter with three meats and 2 sides … Thinking my two boys could split it. But we were wrong. Lesson learned I had the house burger,With pepper jack and slaw . Was very good. But they gave me literally 4 pieces of chopped lettuce .. no attention to detail really. The fries are skinny and seasoned . The ranch is good . And the corn bread is dry but has a dip that is yummy . I think it’s apple sauce and barbeque sauce. Speaking of BBQ sauce. They sent them at the table 4 of them. None are spicy … Our server was ok. Nice.. we went late so wasn’t packed at all but I’m sure it can be on a busy weekend. The street itself is awesome. So much to do. And see. I would go for the day and end it here at Hendricks . .

I just visited this place in Saint Charles, and I was truly impressed.
I ordered the brisket sandwich with Mac+cheese and it was perfectly tender and flavorful. Also the variety of bbq sauces they have is amazing.

Our server Kimmie, made the experience even better. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and very accommodating with our requests and dietary restrictions. She really made us feel really taken care of.

I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I never cared to leave bad reviews, preferably just say nothing at all, but this place was not good at all. I think this place must be on its last leg. The first words out of our waitresses mouth was, I don’t think we are out of anything, strike 1. I ordered a draft beer only to find out the CO2 was not working. There was no acceptable brew in a bottle I preferred, only in a can, strike 2. I ordered the brisket sandwich with slaw on the sandwich (the waitress just asked if I wanted the slaw on the sandwich or on the plate but never said it was an extra $2 for it, strike 3. My actual side was collard greens with onion and bacon that came with no onion and no bacon, strike 4. The brisket, while a huge portion, was served cold, strike 5. It’s a wonderful building along the Missouri River with plenty of artwork dedicated to local famous Blues Artists. That was the only high point. We definitely will not go back.

Let’s start with the Best things about this restaurant. The atmosphere and service was great, loved the artwork, decor, ambiance. The service was great as our server was attentive and provided good service. We had a party of 11 and she did very well. The downside was the food lacked some seasoning and flavor. Such as the mac and cheese was bland, turkey was good but dry, ribs have very little flavor, smoked sausage was good. Overall a nice place, some adjustments and tweaking with the food will make them exceptional.

Not impressed this time the pulled chicken was so dry I couldn’t even eat it. The Mac n cheese had good flavor but very dry. The ribs were good and so was the baked potato. The waitress even told us what not to order because of quality wow thats a first. Probably won’t be back.
