Very nice spot for a nice meal. The place itself has a great atmosphere, just a tad upscale but not anywhere near snobby. The food is good quality, although sometimes a bit expensive. I got to try the fried smelts and the It’s Green burger.
Both were really good. It’s rare to find fried smelts anywhere in the area (last time I had them was in Spain). But here, they do a very nice job of making them. A good amount of lemon provided, relatively crispy battering, and fresh fish that doesn’t taste too fishy. They also had a pretty flavorful sauce with it (possibly tartar but I’m not sure).
The burger was also great. They cooked it perfectly for my liking. The green sauce wasn’t too spicy and overall the burger just tasted balanced. The fires it was served with were also wonderful: quite crispy and salty.
All in all, well done to this place. It’s a nice atmosphere and they serve great food. Would recommend.

They have a really eclectic menu here, and it’s all delicious. The drinks were great too, and the service was prompt and efficient without being obsequious. There was a comfortable buzz of conversation, and not too noisy.

First time visit and we weren’t disappointed. Hemlock House is small, so I would recommend reservations. Menu has different options than your typical place. They have a duck burger that is very popular. We had the Mac and cheese, watermelon and feta salad, and the Jeremy burger. Everything was delicious! You absolutely have to try the gingerbread for dessert, it is too die for! It is warm, has caramel sauce and fresh whipped cream with orange zest…amazing!!

I really enjoyed my experience at Hemlock House. It was a little busy when we arrived but we were seated within 5 mins. The staff was really attentive during the whole dinner.
I had the Kimchi Burger which was soo delicious. We also tried the pressed watermelon sashimi and brussel sprouts. The watermelon tasted so close to real tuna sashimi that it was uncanny.
My wife had the lasagna which was huge. I had to help her finish it. It was very good as well. All in all, it was a cool little tavern with good drinks and food, I will be back.

Hemlock House presents as a beighborhood bar/tavern and indeed that is what it is. However, the food and service make it so much more. Very good beer and drink menu. Eclectic food menu featuring items far afield from. the usual bar offerings. We enjoyed the fried artichoke hearts and steak tartar appetizers. Our meals were terrific, eye opening! And our waitress treated us like we were her only customer.

We tried a wide variety of the food. Everything was great. Cool Twin Peaks vibe. Dark and mysterious atmosphere great for a date night.

This place a gem. Fun atmosphere, helpful & generally amazing staff, creative drink menu, and absolutely incredible food. The menu is beautifully crafted and features a variety of upscale eats that few places in town feature or do this well, and that you’re not going to find at any other eatery on the block… Escargot, beef tartare, and frogs legs, prepared creatively and at the highest level, and available in an atmosphere certain to entertain fans of David Lynch’s work. My partner and I are delighted to be regulars at this place…highly recommend!

Kinda want to keep my favorite spot hidden but they’re too good to keep a secret. Tony is a gifted mixologist who has only ever made me the most delicious cocktails. And do not get me started about the kitchen. Really delicious vegetarian appetizers: best broccolini and artichoke I’ve had in my life, no jokes. The burgers are also excellent, including the veggie substitutes (my partner is vegetarian). The two pasta entrees I’ve had have been light, hearty, and packed with flavor. Very large portion sizes. Such a regent square gem.

Hemlock House was great, and we’ll definitely be back! This was our first time. I figured out after that we got the brunch menu (2pm on a Saturday) which is fine, I wish it was labeled as such, but food was still pretty good! The Delmonico burger was gorgeous, maybe a little undercooked, but still great, and the fries were awesome. The Crab and Bacon Hushpuppies were pretty good, a little dry, but still pretty delicious! Really lovely place. I did want to note that the bowl the hushpuppies were served in was chipped in two places and probably should be disposed of. Will come back for dinner/late night!

We went for a late dinner on Sunday night.
We sat very quickly and they were very nice and friendly.
The burgers were very delicious and tasty and it was beyond my expectations.
The food took a little bit long to be prepared and the lady who was taking care of us a little bit not paying attention to our requests. We had to ask many times and wait for long time for a simple request.
But overall our food experience was great and definitely go back there to try the other burger
