It’s the great food and wonderful service we’ve come to expect over the 4 years we’ve been coming here! In addition, there is always a CV breeze which is so important for a comfortable and long lunch. 3 of us had the blackened Mahi-mahi, tasty with fried and a generous side salad with mustard dressing. Full marks.

Heminway’s was recommended by a shopkeeper down the street and it did not disappoint. I ordered blackened mahi mahi and received a very large portion perfectly prepared with fries and delicious steamed vegetables. (I would have been happy with just a large plate of vegetables!). I love seafood and can’t remember the last time I had a meal this good. Would absolutely love to return!

Atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, but the menu is way overpriced and geared towards tourism. One drink we ordered was too strong with rum.

Server was not friendly. We ordered lobster roll and fish sandwich. Lobster roll was mostly fish covered up by a strong garlicky sauce that was not pleasant. It had a $30 USD price. Fish sandwich was good for $18. They brought us two small glasses of tea that was mostly ice. When we asked for more tea, they brought two more small glasses full of ice and little tea.and changed us for four teas. Total bill $73. My husband was burping up garlic the rest of the day. Not a pleasant experience.

One of the best meals I had in the Caribbean! I had the catch of the day which was Mahi Mahi (Dolphinfish) and it was sublime! The Caribbean spices they used for the fish were amazing. The staff were very friendly and were happy to give us recommendations on where to go for drinks etc.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Hemingways in Antigua. The goat curry was the best we have ever had, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The lobster salad was refreshing, light, and delicious. Their cocktails were amazing as well, balanced, creative, and so enjoyable.
The atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and very local, which made the whole experience even better. This restaurant is family owned for nearly four decades, and you can truly feel the pride and passion in everything they do. Anna and the staff were fantastic, delightful, warm, attentive, and friendly.
We highly recommend visiting Hemingways. A wonderful place with great food, great people, and great vibes.

A fun place to sit and watch the world go by. It is located upstairs right outside the Cruise Ship terminal and all of the duty-free shops. The service (thanks, Cheryl!) was friendly and timely. Even though it was busy, our drinks and food were delivered promptly. We had a fish sandwich (hot, flaky and lightly battered) and a Caribbean curry (nicely spiced). Drinks were well made. The price was right. We would visit again!

Had a great lunch at Hemmingway’s while walking through the port district. We were staying on the Island but had heard good things. We had yummy sandwiches and salad which had the most amazing dressing. And the prices were reasonable too! Highly recommend whether your takings port day on a cruise or vacationing on the island
