The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside. The decor is vibrant and makes for a great atmosphere. It’s definitely a visually stunning place.
Unfortunately, the service and overall experience didn’t match the ambiance. When we arrived, there was a waiting list but no hostess or clear instructions for guests to sign in, so it felt disorganized from the start. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated, another 5 minutes just to get drinks, and about 20 more minutes for our food.
The staff seemed slow and only checked on us once. We didn’t receive any water refills during the meal.
As for the food, it was just okay, nothing to write home about, especially for the price. The pho was particularly disappointing. The broth was greasy and not very appetizing. The hu tieu was also not close to authentic. It came with half a regular egg instead of quail eggs, the pork was tough and dry, and there was no sliced liver. The squid tasted like it had been frozen and was still cold on the inside when I bit into it.
Overall, it felt pricey for the quality and service we received. I will give them a pass since they just opened not too long ago, and I hope they work out these issues because the space truly is beautiful and has a lot of potential. At this point, I am not sure if I will return, especially since there are better options in Katy Asia Town.

We visited during their soft opening and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The service was friendly and attentive, and the dining room has a clean, modern aesthetic that’s really inviting. We’re glad this spot is now close to us, and it already feels like a place we’ll return to often. The team mentioned that the menu will continue to grow, and it was nice to see how welcoming and positive everyone was. Overall, an excellent first visit and we’re looking forward to coming back!!

I just wanted to share how thrilled we are that Hẻm Noodle Bar has opened right here in our neighborhood! The location is perfect, and the decor is fantastic – we love the old-style Vietnamese images painted on the walls; it really adds a unique touch.
The servers are incredibly well-trained and attentive, knowing exactly what to ask and paying attention to every detail. The menu is simple, which makes choosing easier. We tried the Com Tam Sai Gon and Bo Ne, and both dishes were absolutely excellent. The eggrolls we had as an appetizer were tasty as well.

Our first time trying this place, and it was a great experience. The staff were professional and friendly, especially Tran Ahh Minh N and the store manager. Our original pho spot closed on Hwy 90 & 99, and we’ve had a hard time finding a new favorite—until now. This is officially our go-to place for pho and other delicious dishes. Hopefully their reasonable prices will still be the same after their soft opening.

Can you say FLAVOR!!! This is by far the best Bun I have ever tasted. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked well. If I had one suggestion, please make the meat (pork) a bit smaller in size as it is hard to eat such large cuts of meat. The spring rolls were spot on as well. I will definitely return.
