A trip to downtown Portsmouth is not complete without a stop at Hello Sweetie Cheesecakes. There’s more than just cheesecake here. They have a large variety of decadent sweeties so there’s something that would please just about anyone. They have great coffee, unusual flavors and super friendly customer service. The decor is clean and cheerful. This is a great place to treat yourself or a friend.

Stopped in when I was at The Farmer’s Market on High Street. The atmosphere was adorable and the service was excellent. I purchased 4 cheesecakes with no expectations. I tried the Sugar Free cheesecake today and IT WAS AMAZING!!!! I could not tell it was Sugar free. No weird after taste. It was so creamy and delicious!

I love HELLO SWEETIE! They have a wide variety of cheese cakes to choose from and all the ones I have tried (especially banana pudding and Dubai chocolate!) are amazing! The staff is always so friendly!
I was also being served on the evening of January 28th and I think I was in the store the same time as the recent 1 star review. It is probably my fault it took the one employee so long to wait on the other customer. I was being very distracting and walking from one case to another looking at all the wonderful choices! The poor cashire was being very patient with me while I picked out my choices and as soon as she rung me up, she immediately greeted the customer who came in after me. I recieved a bigger discount because Hello Sweetie also offers Military Discounts (Yay! As a veteran, child of a veteran, married to a veteran, thank you!). As for a second employee who allegedly ignored this other customer, I did not see anyone else there and so I assume they must have been in the back baking or cleaning.
I am very sorry that this previous person was having such a sad day, one that could not even be improved by delicious cheese cake. However, I think they are letting that cloud their judgement because their description is a misrepresentation of what I wittnessed and experienced.

It makes no sense how delicious these cheesecakes are!! Yesterday was my first visit. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile which always makes for a better experience! I purchased the banana pudding cheesecake and the strawberry shortcake cheesecake and they were both delicious! You could taste the fresh flavor throughout and it was not a chemical laden flavor but tasted actually like the fruit presented!! I shared with my grandmother and she was equally pleased!! I will return!! Please don’t change!!

This place is so cute, the cheesecake is delicious and the owner was such a delight. I had the biscoff and the key lime cheesecakes. I really liked how they were packaged. These make great little gifts.
I liked both cheesecakes. I really enjoyed the flavor of the key lime one, it was tart and sweet. I liked the biscoff one a little more because of the texture and sweetness. I am definitely gonna go try some other flavors.
The customer service was top tier. I highly recommend stopping in to support this woman owned business!!!

I was craving cheesecake and didn’t feel like driving to Virginia Beach. I did a Google search and decided to try this spot for cheesecake in Portsmouth. They had so many options, but I went with the German chocolate, Banana pudding, and Blueberry Peach. They come in a cute little tin with just the right serving for 1 or 2. The German chocolate was my favorite, absolutely amazing, followed by the Banana pudding. I let my friend sample and we agreed that this will be our new cheesecake spot! I’ve been telling everyone about the amazing German chocolate cheesecake.

Oh my goodness! This unsuspecting lady knows how to bake a cheesecake and a cookie!!!!!! I had passed her small shop so many times while shopping at the Portsmouth, Farmers Market on High Street and was like ‘hmmmm, nawwww’. But a week ago, I went to the Farmers Market and the bread pudding lady wasn’t there and I really wanted some sweets. So my husband and I was like ‘okay, let’s just try her cookies because they’re not that expensive’. BEST COOKIE I’VE HAD IN A LONG TIME!! We circled back and brought 2 cheesecakes because if it was anything like the cookies, we’d be super happy. WE WERE!!!! If you’re downtown High Street and want a sweet treat, you’ve got to stop by Hello Sweetie Cheesecakes!! Yesterday was my husband’s birthday and I had to go get his desserts from here…..$60 later…..I left with a box of deliciousness! He was soo happy and so were we. I forgot to take pictures of everything but this is what’s left…..Banana pudding cheesecake and Strawberry Shortcake cheesecake and a corner of an eaten Everything chocolate chip cookie with pecans ❤️❤️❤️

Saw a video not long ago about this place and decided to check it out today. I was greeter upon entry and there was another first timer there. The young lady behind the counter said she would be right with me. I tried the Strawberry Shortcake it was awesome. Where as some cheesecake is very rich and overly sweet which is what I was expecting this one was not as rich as I expected and definitely not overly sweet. Today was my first visit but definitely won’t be my last.

Hello Sweetie’s has some of the BEST CHEESECAKE in Olde Towne Portsmouth. Love the personal servings. Bigger servings are available as well. My Favorites are Key Lime, Banana and the Biscoff has just recently became one of my favorites. Check her out. You won’t be disappointed
