Loved the experience and the food. We loved the giant tables for large families and outdoor seating. The staff was lovely, quick and efficient. The food was fresh and tasted great. We got several different protiens and styles. We dont always want a show when we do hibachi so this was a perfect option. Lots of other yummy cafe type options on the menu like special coffeehouse drinks and pastries. My kids loved all the different options. Cafe style menu if hibachi isn’t for you. Very reasonable pricing too. We loved it here and will be back!

Beautifully designed fast casual restaurant. We’ve ordered here at least a dozen times, and always consistently excellent and delicious. Generous portions for the price. Top fresh ingredients. Food you’d expect from a higher tier establishment. 5 star customer service – the gals at the front end owned a recent order mistake and made it right, which isn’t common these days. Truly appreciated. This is a top 3 meal for us in the Summerlin area.

The interior design is nice I ordered a teppanyaki bowl and was not even close to what I had before for many times in different places! The moment I saw instant noodles in my bowl I realized I was in the wrong place!!! It took them 45 minutes to prepare our order, it was just 2 of us!! And they forgot my side salad too! I remembered 2 hours after I left the restaurant lol !It was such a disappointment!

Completely terrible when trying to pick up a take out order. I went and stood at the counter labeled as the pick up area along with multiple other people standing there waiting. Nobody acknowledged any of us. Other people walked in after us and approached the register at the main counter where they were handed their orders. The people who had already been waiting ended up moving over to the register where we were told we had to go back to the to go counter? I pointed out we had all been standing there waiting without being acknowledged. I was told with a total attitude “I understand that but there’s only two of us working front of the house right now.” But then how were there several people who walked in after us who were able to walk straight up to the register and get their orders no problem?
There wasnt even a line or anything at the register, just a steady growing group of people standing near the takeout counter, so what was happening that was so hectic none of us were able to get help? Everyone dining in had also already been served so I guess I’m just confused as to what was going for us all to have basically gotten blown off.

Hello Hibachi Island Grill, with its build-your-own hibachi plate concept, offers a personalized dining experience that, while commendable, comes with a nuanced evaluation. My selection of filet mignon and shrimp as protein, accompanied by mixed veggies and house-grilled rice, unfolded as a culinary journey that, unfortunately, did not fully meet the expectations set by the price point.
The flexibility of creating a custom hibachi plate is undoubtedly a unique feature that caters to individual preferences. However, the total cost of $27.00 for my concoction raised eyebrows, particularly in light of the more economical pre-set menu options. This significant price difference detracted from the overall value proposition and, in my estimation, needed to align with the perceived quality of the meal.
Regarding the culinary aspect, the food at Hello Hibachi Island Grill manifested as average at best. While the ingredients were fresh, the execution of flavors lacked the finesse and memorable quality expected from a hibachi dining experience. The filet mignon and shrimp, though competent, did not transcend the realm of the ordinary, leaving a desire for more complexity and depth of taste.
Despite the culinary reservations and price considerations, the restaurant as a whole merits a 4-star rating. The concept of the build-your-own hibachi plate is an intriguing departure from the conventional, and the ambiance and service contribute positively to the dining atmosphere. The staff’s attentiveness and the pleasant setting elevate the overall experience, even if the cost and culinary execution fall short of the highest standards.
In summation, Hello Hibachi Island Grill offers a dining experience with notable strengths in its concept, ambiance, and service. However, the 3-star rating for the food and 1-star rating for the pricing are indicative of areas that warrant reconsideration. While not discouraging others from trying the establishment, my opinion leans toward the sentiment that the overall experience may not justify a memorable trip, especially when considering the perceived value in relation to the cost.

The amount of food you get for the price is ridiculous! We got half the amount of food that we get when we go to Hibachi Time. We can order one 2 protein entree at Hibachi Time and both be very full. We barely had enough food for one person with their 2 protein dish for the same price and the same quality. Hitachi time tastes better too.

We were pleasantly surprised. The food was great. Price was inexpensive. And the music and atmosphere perfect. We will add this place to our regular spots.

My favorite Lunch spot: I ordered the 2 Protein with 3 Sides combo from Hello Hibachi, choosing filet and spicy chicken along with grilled rice, noodles, and broccolini, with a side of teriyaki yum yum sauce. The filet was tender, and the spicy chicken had a nice kick (though a bit more heat would have been great–you can always request their house spicy sauce). The sides were well-prepared, with the broccolini providing a fresh, healthy option. Overall, it was a delicious and generous helping — highly recommended!
The ambiance is my absolute favorite. It’s one location for both Hello Hibachi and Little Avalon, and the decor, along with the real plants, reminds me of Tulum. The staff are very friendly, and even though they may seem busy and running around to get everyone served, they always maintain a welcoming and kind attitude.

One of the worst restaurants I have ever ordered from. Chicken Katsu was extremely overcooked and dry garlic noodles almost made me throw up of the disgusting rancid smell and taste. Took one bite of everything and couldn’t proceed. Do not I repeat do not eat here. (I’m a chef who rarely likes to leave bad reviews because I understand how a kitchen can get sometimes but this place is extremely bad and the reviews show) stay away. Update* After reaching out to the store and requesting a refund as I still have the food and wanted to bring it. I was told
by an employee named Charity that the person who deals with refunds isn’t in and will contact me. I asked if there is anything else they can do as I am out of almost $40 and no food to eat. She said there is nothing they can do, seems to be a very unprofessional business that’s doesn’t have its affairs in order from the kitchen to the register.
