Absolutely love their hot chicken pasta! I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always amazing! Customer service is great as well!

Where are my onions? Spinach greek salad. Requested no chicken peas. Didn’t get onions either. Of course they are closed now. I thought a week salad would have kalamata olives. I was wrong about that.

I’ve been coming to Hellenic my whole life. Ever since I can remember they are very stingy on the tomatoes in the Greek salad. 2 for a small and 3 for a large. For the price point they should be more generous. Knowing they barely put any tomatoes I asked if they can swap the peperoncini for tomatoes. I was told I would be charged extra. As good as the dressing is they put MSG in it. Hopefully they start making the dressing healthier and start putting more tomatoes in their salad. If not I don’t think I will be going back again.

The atmosphere was nice, clean, modern, and welcoming. Our waitress was super nice and we didn’t wait for anything. Prices are decent too. I would directly compare their prices with coney’s. The difference is, the food isn’t as good as Coney’s. I ordered the gyro since the restaurant has a Greek feel with a Coney Island undertone. First gyro came out was a bit burnt and crunchy. They replaced it with no problem and the 2nd one was up to par. My son ordered the corn beef, chili fries, and cheese sticks. Of the 3, he said only the cheese sticks were as good as Coney’s. My gyro was comparable as well. My wife met us at the end and ordered carry out. Her chicken taco salad looks fire. Can’t wait to see what it’s like. I may come back for an update.

I order multiple meals from this establishment at least 3 times per week. Today, they refused to sell me a carry out kids meal because my granddaughter wasn’t present. The absence of Customer Service is what causes these types of places to eventually fail. I guess it’s time for me to spend my earnings elsewhere.

The restaurant has now replied that I wanted to customize a kids meal. To be clear, inquiring as to whether a kids meal comes with a fountain or bottled drink is not a request to customize. It’s an inquiry. The cashier specifically stated, “YOU can’t buy a kids meal.” That’s a refusal. When I asked why I couldn’t purchase a kids meal that was for a kid, the issue then became one of non-understanding as if the English language could no longer be understood. I won’t play this back and forth game any longer. This will be my last reply. I’m thankful for the restaurant’s blatant lie in their response. It confirms my decision to no longer patronize and I hope others follow suit. If the establishment is dishonest regarding this situation, I’m sure they’re dishonest about everything else concerning the business. I don’t trust the food, nor the hands preparing it.

Meh. There are such better coneys and diners in the area – this one is expensive and a bit skimpy on portions. The Greek salad with grilled chicken was pretty decent, but could have had more feta. It was fresh, at least. My hubby’s club was pretty lame, though – one single slice of turkey per piece of bread. He also ordered cheese fries, and out bill was like $45. I think too pricey for what you get. the dining area is really clean and new looking, though.

I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars. Hellenic is a great place to eat. The food is always good. This is my place to stop everytime I’m in town. I’ve been going since before they moved into this new location. The portion size is not the same. I normally order the small chicken greek salad but this time I ordered a large. To me it is the same size as the small. It’s just spread out over a bigger container. I didn’t take a pic of the salad because I didn’t eat it the same day and forgot. It was good and I will be back but I won’t pay the extra money for the large… I’ll stick to the small.
