One of our favorite go-to restaurants in Redwood City. Place truly feels mediterranean. Food is always made fresh – yummy and you’d know it’s healthy. The combo plate (esp the lamb) and their rice pudding is the best!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Hella Mediterranean! The owners, Ali and his wife, provided outstanding customer service, making me feel very welcome.
I ordered a Caesar salad and added salmon and tomato – it was absolutely amazing! To top off the meal, I highly recommend the Turkish tea as dessert. It’s perfect as a digestive, and the flavor is incredible.

This place is in a nice courtyard with many other restaurants and self care businesses . The food taste like it looks and taste fresh. We (me and wife) went to this place over the weekend for lunch. It’s a small eatery in Redwood City downtown close to the theatres and the staff were courteous and friendly.
We ordered the Hella Veggie Plate and the Falafel plate. This was the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in the bay area. The food was delicious and the portion sizes didn’t make me feel full and bloated. I will visit this place again for sure.
