Great food and a great staff. I had a half rack and sides and my wife had rib tips and side, both were awesome. The baked beans are amazing, very good. They also have a bar, didn’t try this time I was driving. We are definitely going back.

The place was beautiful clean restroom good food the baked beans was delicious. I even ordered dinners to take home. The owner was very friendly to me and husband and I had an adult beverage awesome. Don’t matter your race, color or gender , support the businesses in your surrounding community . I found my to go place knowing my food will be good the person that cooks it cares.

My wife and I ate there a month ago, passing through town on our way back to Kansas City from a week in New Orleans. Being from KC we know something about barbecue, and we were a little skeptical. It turned out the food was great. We met the owner; terrific young man who talked with us for a while. Obviously a hard worker, I hope his business is doing well in these hard times. I highly recommend this place.

Stopped here otw back to KC from Gulf Shores. We were halfway across town & my husband said he was hungry so I made him backtrack to your restaurant. We weren’t disappointed. We were traveling w/ our dog so the outside seating totally worked. We both had brisket sandwiches & fried okra. The brisket was totally legit & this is coming from someone who has lived their whole life in KC. No need to totally sauce it up. It stands on it’s own. Everyone was so friendly that we talked to & did a great job wearing masks & following Covid protocols. What a hidden gem. Glad we passed by and stopped!!!

Just looking for a place to stop in a road trip and didn’t expect to find such a great place by accident. The building is clean, the atmosphere is nice and picnic tables were nice to eat at. A plus was the restrooms were very clean! All the food is Great with a super friendly staff! For a good restaurant you look for a place that has 2 or 3 of this things. This one checked the box for ALL of those things!
