“Begun the Chicken Wars Have”. Curious about the reviews and location (which has been many restaurants over the years) and was quite impressed upon my first visit. While they do not win many style points, this is an old school, throwback, classic Southern chicken shack! And the food was darn good!!had the 1/4 dark chicken, fries, slice of bread (that’s how you know they are authentic!), and a sweet tea. The spices and preparation on the chicken was mouth watering delicious. On the list to see you again soon!

I stopped in today for lunch. I had the chicken sandwich-mild and fries. Tea to drink. The food was delicious. I would suggest placing your order online or doing door dash. I probably won’t visit as often as I’d like to due to the concept. But I will order through a 3rd party.

The food is quite delicious. We ordered the wings, gizzards, fish, and tenders. Wings and gizzards: HOT; fish and tenders: MILD. “Hot” was super spicy! I wouldn’t want to try the “hella hot”. The fish and tenders were perfect. The service was excellent, super nice people. We would venture here again, whenever we come back to town. Thank you, Helen’s!!

Listen that hot is hot but it’s good as hell. Bring a friend, the fam, or your coworkers for a amazing meal. They do have mild and no spicy options but I’m telling you should at least go mild. The service is great. Friendly with a touch of extra like making sure to spell your name right for to go orders and offer fresh tea out if your not feeling what is already out.

There is a wait for the food only because it is cook to order but it’s MOST DEFINITELY, ABSOLUTELY worth it. This is without a doubt one of the best chicken spots in the area!! I haven’t tried the seafood yet but I plan to in the near future. Friendly and outgoing staff. I recommend this restaurant!

Just happen to be riding past here and decided to stop…… so glad I did. I got the Seafood platter with catfish, fried okra, fried shrimp and fried lobster tail with an order of fried chicken gizzards. Absolutely bussing!!!! And reasonably priced. I definitely will be back and I highly recommend them. They’ve been open about a month and they’re based out of Nashville and have another location in Atlanta as well. Check them out y’all. You wont be disappointed!!!

I was impressed with the really pretty young lady who greeted us, (class/professionalism) She gave us an organized run down of the specials and made it a smooth ordering process because it was our first time. The establishment/bathrooms were clean ( loveeee). The food was really good! Sweet tea, perfect! I had the chicken breast sandwich, my hubby had wings, and the 3yr old kids meal shrimp . She usually peels off the fried batter, but not this time. Baby girl ate the whole skrimpz lol. The prices were easy on the pockets. Only flaw, we waited super long for our food. It wasn’t busy in the dining area, but the hubby says they seemed to have a lot of carryout. Will definitely percent return!

I got the chicken breast sandwich done ‘hot’ with okra. Absolutely fantastic Nashville style chicken. My hubby got the fried wings in the same level of hotness. He got the fires and slaw. Everything was super good and made in-house from scratch. Also I at first ordered the hella hot but the employee was very helpful in describing the kind of hot that would be. I was very happy with the regular hot but I think if you are more sensitive that you wouldn’t want to go there. Next time I want to try the hella hot!
