This is a throwback kind of tavern with everything including its looks and its prices the owner Susie is a very nice lady if you’re thirsty and you’re nearby hit it up. They do have two very nice pool tables a good jukebox a lottery machine and lots of stools to have a good time!

This is a good spot! We were in town for some shopping, eating, drinking and this was about 1/2 mile from the B&B. Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews – probably from pretentious people who don’t know how to hang out at a local bar. Lively, and cold beers!

Overpriced drinks, food is below average compared to other local dive bars, the bartenders and owners seem like they don’t want to be there and the pool tables are due for replacement. I would recommend the Sandwich Factory if you are in the area and read this review.

Too bad I couldn’t give it a half star. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a bar .. ever. My husband and I walked in and the place got quiet. And it only got worse from there. The waitress acted surprised that we asked for a menu. So surprised that we decided not to order food. We each had one drink… Never saw the waitress after she bought us our drinks. We left knowing we could find a much better place just about anywhere else.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. By far this was the absolute worst experience of my life. As I was traveling in the area, and attended a local attraction FIELD OF SCREAMS with my closest friends, we decided to have a drink. Wanting to support local small businesses, we found ourselves at HELENS. My first impression was very chaotic yet welcoming.
