Came here on Christmas Day and it was lovely! The ambiance was very authentic and cozy. I’m a big fan of anywhere that gives you a little something to snack on when you sit down and they definitely got that down. The wonton soup was decent and the beef and broccoli was great. The sesame noodles were ok but the consistency of the sauce was a little off putting as it was more of a paste. Overall a good local spot!

This would be 5 stars if I did take out or delivery. The food is great, I’ve eaten take out here several times. As constructive criticism, I feel like the restaurant would have more people if they had a better ambient; music a little bit louder so it’s like most restaurants, and more lights. Maybe they could lift the curtains and turn the lights on. Also clean the windows. The food and service was great. But I think these little details would make a better experience and would’ve kept me more time eating in the restaurant.

Several friends and I enjoyed lunch at Helen Huang’s in Hollywood. The servicers were friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious.

The Oriental Curry Chicken was flavorful and perfectly spiced, and the Mandarin Beef Scallion was tender, savory, and cooked just right. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, and overall it was a nice, calm spot to enjoy a meal. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. We’ll definitely be back!

This place feels genuinely Chinese—from the koi aquarium and high-back booths to the low lighting, it’s got that ’90s classic vibe in the best way. Service was warm and straightforward; my server was lovely and steered me to the Three Musketeers plus fried chicken egg rolls, which were spot-on. The dining room is quiet, cozy, and unpretentious—perfect if you actually want to taste your food and relax. The only thing that breaks the immersion is the English pop playlist; Chinese music would fit the atmosphere much better. Otherwise, a great, authentic spot I’d happily return to.

Been to Helen’s several times now. We been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for quite sometime. Well we found. Excellent food, and service at reasonable prices. Get there before 7pm and have a four course meal for $16 bucks..that’s right $16 bucks.

Food was pretty good! We ordered shrimp egg foo young, Singapore egg rolls, egg drop / wonton soup and Ginger honey wings. No real complaints but expect regional differences folks! Egg foo young dishes in Florida are not the same as in the Northeast. Weird sauce. Also, duck sauce is different. No shrimp toast–which we were craving! Wanted hot and sour soup but it mentioned hard boiled eggs so that was a hard no. Bottom line: we would order from them again but if you’re from New York or New Jersey, don’t be surprised if things are prepared different than expected!

My husband has been a loyal customer of this restaurant since he was young. Even though we live in another city, he makes a special trip just to enjoy their Honey garlic Chicken and has introduced many of his friends to the restaurant over the years. Recently, I had the pleasure of joining him for a meal, and I must say that the food was truly wonderful! Every dish was bursting with flavor, and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch experience.
