Decided to go here for dinner on Wednesday evening. Very busy place. There is a pub side and dinner side. Pub side was very noisy. We ate on the dinner side and was much quieter. Lots of choices on the menu. Staff was very friendly and professional. Food did not take long to arrive after ordering. Food tasted very good.

Got a room next door so it only made sense to walk over and try it out. I set at the bar since I was by myself and ordered wings, a salad and a beer. The bartenders were of course on top of their game and very friendly. The wings were ok but not what I’m accustomed to from an Irish pub. The dinner salad was really good and the beer was of course awesome. There were plenty of TVs for all. The prices were in line with what you would expect at a nice pub. I’ll come back next time my travels bring me this way.

On a Saturday, we celebrated the 70th birthday of a dear friend. What better place than Helen Fitzgerald’s to go to?! The food was supplied by HF, and extremely delicious! Pretzel Bites, Pepperoni Pizza, Chicken Tenders & Chicken Wings-all extraordinarily mouthwatering! I also ordered a drink. I asked for something fruity with rum, and they mixed me the best Adult Punch I ever had! I’m going back to order a meal of my own. I know I won’t be disappointed!

Lovely place to enjoy fine beer and tasty food. The portions felt a bit small for the price, but the dishes were tasty. I liked the vibe as well, though the outdoor seating is less suited for winter. Great options for draft beer and some German food.

Traveling through the area, stayed at the wonderful Comfort Suites next door and walked over. (Suggest you advertise at the hotel for guests, as there are many choices in the area).
Jason welcomed us in, he was friendly and described the layout of the restaurant, quieter restaurant seating on one side, more pub style on the other. He was very nice and offered his help if needed.
Kaitlynn was our server, she was nice, attentive, might be a little new and didn’t have much knowledge in some of the menu items but she had a fun attitude.
Guinness was poured correctly, delicious and cold. Huge menu, food service was quick, Reuben was generous with seasoned fries, Shepherds Pie was hot and delicious.
I could see this place really booming during March Madness with the 70+ tvs or St Patrick’s day ☘️. Fun Irish vibe!

We’re regulars at Helen’s. It’s our go-to spot for college sports and Wednesday night trivia. The food is always great as is the atmosphere, but the best part is the service. The Saturday crew: Kelly, Stella, Megan, and Bella are fantastic. I defy you to find better service anywhere in St. Louis (including “high end” restaurants). They get 5 stars only because I can’t give 6! Whoever is in charge, give these ladies a raise, because they’re an all-star crew.

We went there for lunch to see what the noise and atmosphere was like. While it had some noise with music in the background, it wasn’t bad. You have lots of food choices in the 10-20 dollar range. We got in easily at 11:10 am on a Saturday without a reservation. It was easy to have a conversation. I prefer the chairs to the booths for seating. Food was tasty.

We celebrated a little surprise birthday party for my mom’s 60th, and we had absolutely the best time. Helen’s is always a great atmosphere. Kaitlyn helped get everything together prior with the reservation/food ordering and Nahomy was our server. Nahomy was the BEST and was so attentive to everything we needed. She even helped me set up a few balloons and make the space special for my mom. I cannot recommend Helen’s enough

Dined there on Friday. Sat in dining room as bar side was jammed. Server was Morgan – she was prompt, attentive, friendly and was terrific. Food was fabulous especially the Cajun shrimp and cheesecake. The other staff there were also fabulous. We will be back again

Visited for dinner and tried a couple appetizers. The food was great, unfortunately the service was not. We warned the waiter we were just getting a few appetizers as to not waste too much of his time. I understand a table not getting entrees may not get as much service but we were only served 3 times over almost an hour and a half period. Never got a refill and waited 20 minutes after finishing up to get the bill. Still left a tip but couldn’t justify 25%.
